frasersmum123 I noticed your Florida goal in a thread earlier. I saved for 8 years for my daughter and I to go to Florida and during the last two weeks of October this year we finally made it! It was amazing and the weather was better than we could ever have wished for. It was so worth the struggle of saving for all those years. I never thought I would ever get there but I did and it made my daughter so happy. You will make it one day with sheer hard work and determination. Hope that gives you a glimmer of hope! :)

Nothing in the pot so far today but got to go to the supermarket after work so will have some change to go in it later :T

Hi everyone and what a bitterly cold day. So picturesque here though and a sight for sore eyes. A lovely 1hr or so watching my DGC in their nativity play - fantastic. :A:A

Hi all I counted up aload of spare change I had in a jar under my bed ,... Didnt know it was there... But it all added upto £55.00 (including some spare change I had in my purse) hows everyone else doing ?? Xxx[/quote/

Well, put it this way, mummytummy, I've no money pot nor any other under me bed that could net me anything near that, more likely to find a couple of dozen fairies singing the Hallelujah Chorus than any amount of money. Twould take me a couple of months to get anywhere near that....though I'll have to have a look under there tonight, just to check DH hasn't surprised me. Anyway, very, very well done on such a great find!!

Thanks a lot for the elf site address again, sparky. Not for me of course, but for the little ones. :A

That was so naughty of you to have checked Mr F's wallet flying-fresianI'd NEVER advocate such goings on....when you checking again??? :rotfl: He leaves money in the washer too??!!! Mine never does - I take em out long before that. :j

-Well done on starting off, majjak, makes you feel good doesn't it!!:D

    Good for you misskaytee.
Asked DH if he fancied shopping with me ,but apparently he doesn't do shops in December too many people :rotfl::rotfl:

Won't hold my breath for Christmas presents then!!

He probably got it last January in the sales LC 2. :rotfl::rotfl:Tell you what though, he sounds just like my DH! I do hope you LOs are soon feeling much better, poor little mites.
Its called "Tinsleheaditus" it affects a lot of men at this time of year and only a crowd of like minded men congregated in the pub that can counter act the symptoms :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope this helps to explain the phenomenon :D
Doesn't that just about sound like the truth. I love the name you came up with, sparky. :D

There's always an incentive to cleaning teenagers rooms TTSwim, our lass was a blighter for it - back in those days I'd have felt guilty if I'd picked it up. Oh how things have changed..trouble is, she's married now!! :(

What a ruddy dip stick!!!! No, me, not you mummytogirls....tis old soup for brains here! Sorry about that, we've so many mummy (somethings) here it gets a bit confusing - though twould help if I looked at the numbers surely!!!! :wall:

50p is still good, emiliah, it helps make the pounds. :)

I hope you rear end's feeling a bit better now frasersmum...is the pavement alright? :rotfl::rotfl:

Good for you, kerry! None for me, but a fair bit yesterday so I can't complain...though I could try! :)
