I heard Mr Fresian drop a load of change earlier. He has rehomed it in his pockets, but the temptation to "investigate" while he's asleep is very strong :D

go go go! your rescuing them from a life of misery amongst pocket lint and close proximity to orifices that lets face it no-one wants to be within 10 ft of! save them and return them to their brethren in the tin of salvation!! :rotfl:

A good start LucyToons, it's so good once we're away, it helps give the enthusiasm to 'go for it'.

Very good, Purpleroses, I get problems getting one pretty gold and silver coin though I did today. Trouble is I almost hate putting it in the pot as they're so pretty.! :(

50p's better than nowt hollysmum, be pleased. :)

£1.06 in the pot today....5p of which I found lingering on DH's desk............that'll teach him ;)

I love reading how much everyone is saving and what for.....it really helps to keep motivated and not raid the tin!

That was good of you to tidy your OH's desk, Jackies, he'll be so pleased...or won't even notice with luck. You made a good point about reading the posts of others to motivate you....we also learn a few tricks along the way too!! :D

Just 40p for me today and to everybody who is trying to claim my loverly road kill (the £20 note) it is safely placed in my sealed tin However my hubby says that I must be good or Santa wont come this year So if anybody can tell me the serial number we will ofcourse return it to its rightful owner ;)

-oooooh...I loved that response, teeni. :rotfl:Very quick thinking...though can't say I remember mine - do you?

Never mind about not being able to save that much every week, hismummy...what an amazing start already ...and all due to the weather! Brilliant. :T

    You crafty devil with your Dad's 50p, Juno...but I love it!!! :j:T

You're welcome kochi1 and now you're on your way toward saving for next Christmas. :)

Hello again Yorkshire-lad, I'm good thank you, though sorry you're not. You take good care of that ear and keep a scarf near or around it when out in that bitter cold weather. If you don't normally suffer with your ears then see you Dr in case of infection as leaving it landed my DH in severe problems a few years ago.

An excellent day's finds mischiefbec, I'll bet you're as pleased as punch. :)

Hi again Molly! Good to know you and the kiddies are well and that you're getting over troubled times. I'm pleased you got your details sorted to be able to come on back with us. Not heard a thing from mumsy, though she did send me a PM a couple of years ago, but sadly not a thing since. Maybe she's had times like you and more on her mind to concern her. Don't be a stranger Molly, it's good to see 'oldies', meant in the very best way! :D

Don't ever resist any temptations like that flying-fresian, you know what they say about there being a reason for everything, well that thought was put there for one such a time - empty them before they make holes in his pockets - that's all I do it for! :A Then of course there's jakes-mum thoughts! THAT doesn't bear thinking of!!! He'd need a little of this....... :grouphug: :rotfl:NO! I didn't offer! ;)
Have a great day doing what you enjoy folks...eyes everywhere for dropsies. :A

Sue x Anyone else wishing to join, please say the word, you're most welcome.

I suspect Mr F went to the shops yesterday as there's less cash in his wallet than the sound of it falling all over the floor suggested :D
