Just you keep religiously saving all those pennies frasersmum, you'll get there - in time. We all have our dream destinations, but they have to come at the right time - it'll show itself some day you'll see, same as mine will of Canada, though due to health problems the insurers won't a colossal amount!!!

You always know how to make me feel better Sue - I hope you get to Canada, and when we get to Florida (and we will one day) I will remember that its all down to You and Sparky and your fabby thread :)
    Moving on up :o SPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Would love to join in with you guys but I hardly ever use cash these days - other than the odd tenner here and there for buying coffee at work and the change from that is then put into my coffee buying pot...

What I have started doing though is clearing my bank account balance down to the nearest fiver each time I check it (which seems to be more or less daily) and sweeping that amount into a separate savings account. It's a bit like the sealed pot thing - just I never actually get my grubby mits on the physical cash!

Anyway, I'm hoping that by doing this I'll be sweeping around £3 to £4 a week into the savings account so will hopefully get in the region of £200 saved up for Christmas next year :)

I think there is a Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge, pretty much as you described, if it's of interest...
