Yes, I have!!!!!!!! But it's not out of my sealed pot - there is prob about £20 in there as well. And the boys wouldn't have bought anything in M&S anyway - I suppose I could have taken the stuff back and got 2 meals for 2 for a tenner. But I've worn them now. And lovely and warm they are too. I can wear them as one of my layers next time I go on a Roadkill expedition.:p

  • Polished off a tin of xmas Quality Street last night (not just me...the mrs helped A LOT) so I now have 2 SEALED POTS!

One is marked up to help with next xmas and the other is to pay off debt. Both tightly sealed!

Turned the house upside down looking for change to start the new tin off as I never have any in my pockets anymore...managed to find a few pennies in DW's purse and 25p in an old rucksack...then remembered a handfull of coppers in my car booting bum bag! Straight into tin #2.

Today is going to be a NSD!!

    Have a good one savers!!:D:D:D

OK so as I said previously I have a sealed £2 pot, last night I went through last years pot and removed all the 50p's and the 20p's as I dont want them going to coinstar at the supermarket. The 20p's are now sealed and put back in the pot and I plan on making sure that 20ps and 50p's are made separate :)

salski- i wouldnt use coinstar it take about 8% of the money you put in :O

your bank would take the change if its paid into your account.. or even local business' would take it off your hands as some banks charge them for change..

  • The first lot of coppers went in last night, 86p, which means I am off the start line. My aim is for £200, which broken down is only £3.85 a week, not a lot at all, tho I am 4 weeks behind. So I am off to raid the sofa!
