A very warm welcome to goodlife and weeclick. It's a pleasure to have you all with us! Have fun saving.
You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you.
goodlife, there's no need to put your Total on, just keep it for next December 1st!!
Good for you with your little lad, hismummy, though I never doubt anything different from SPC Mums!! :money:
Apologies Georgiegirl, shouldn't assume should I, it's just that when anyone phrases it like that they usually mean "the pot". Good for you, keep saving.
All the best with what you're hoping for, welshkaz. Just save hard and you might well get there.
A good idea having the savings tin and a debt one, Nige. It sounds as though you really did turn the house upside down!! Has to be good though. Of course....you could always offer to clean the house through for your DW!!! :rotfl: Just a thought.
It's great to hear how folk turn their lives around after coming on MSE, Yoyosam, good luck to you!
You're doing very well, nickynoo! You too, Bebs!:)
You're on your way, Gorgeestwo, look out when the sweets are gone!
Just a word, salski, don't change ANY money at your supermarket as they take too much of a percentage of it!! Take cash to banks, Post Offices or shops only!
Well pointed out to salski, mcjordi, but I'll leave my warning on to help drive the message home.
Don't worry about being behind, sherry24, you'll soon make it up...and there are always Birthdays etc!
Well done, skilly as ever! KONG and Lula also!luckycharlie wrote:Saw 2p down a storm drain but DH refused to lift the lid up and get it. Said he would rather give me a £1 :rotfl::rotfl:So now have a £1 is this road kill or DH kill? Mind you he says I'm always robbing him:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh, I loved that, LC 2, good on your hubby...though there may be more down there yet!!!
Your future DH is gonna have a force to be reckoned with in you, JoeyGrey! He won't know what's hit him!
Hi Kerry, good to see you and well done.:)
I've £6.69 to go in the pot after shopping, first for a little while.
Hi frasersmum, the amount above is all I've put in for a while, so you're not alone.
A Very Happy New Year to you and to everyone also! _party_
Very well done, iwantahome, just pointing out that we all open the pots on the 1st December.
Keep it up, everyone, you're ALL doing so very well.
Anyone else wishing to join, just ask, you're most welcome and it's never too late.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -

Popped another £4.37 into the pot today - that's the change I've accumulated over Christmas. Not actually been to the shops in days so not much change headed my way at the mo, but January will be better!MBNA £0/3200 Capital One £0/£1500 Overdraft £0/£1650 Barclaycard £0/£5000 Natwest £0/£3500 Goldfish £0/£6500 RBS £0/£7000 Car loan £0/£6800 Student loan ~£8200Virtual Sealed Pot 2012: 31

Hi everyone :hello:
Could I join in the sealed pot challenge please? Have always attempted to save the odd pennies each year, but more often then not I raid the tin in times of (perceived!) need, usually for important things like chocolate... This challenge will give me the incentive I need for 2011!
