  • Drama queen? Me? Nooooooooooo

I had to take £20 out of my £2 pot. Neither of my sons wanted the special offer M&S jumpers I bought them before Christmas. So rather than make them have the M&S vouchers they no doubt would have got after queing for about half an hour on the exchange till, I gave them the money and kept both jumpers for myself.

So I now have 2 lambswool blend jumpers.
  • Now got £6.84 in the pot (Got one of those pots which counts the coins as they go in) Seems to be adding up quite nicely :D

    Hi All,

Please may I join? I've used one of ex DH's old JD Tins, sealed it up and punched a hole in the top with a screwdriver and a hammer - shhh no-one tell him!!! I'm using that for £2 and I have another one going for change under 50p. Will be odd to have a purse that is only allowed £1 and 50p coins in it!!

£1.50 into my 50p's tin today and £1.06 into my Sealed Pot. I may have to open it in June for my holiday but will make sure that anything I "withdraw" is in my signature.

I've been given another two money boxes for Christmas! My friend told me just to throw out my Sealed Pot and put money in the new money boxes (!!!) and didn't understand that the appeal of it is that it's sealed :D
