footymadgal - Poundland often has the old HE products, I prefer them to the new ones :) HTH!

QONMW, I had a £2 hair voucher but didn't spend it (forgot lol) - but that stuff looks nice. Let us know how you get on with it.

rosemary, what did you get in Lush? I had a look at the Lush thread on grabbit to see what offers were on - not that I shop in Lush much, have spent maybe £25 in there in my whole life. Their stuff just goes off so quickly and I can't use a face mask 4 times a week! :rotfl: Anyway, I soon scarpered... bl00dy hell, it's like Armageddon in there! Scary stuff!

Try reading the Lush thread on Grabbit from last night. Was worse than the first day of the sales, handbags at dawn job ( will probably be shot down for this) :rotfl:

I much prefer friendly boards :T

  • Thanks for the picture Jacks. I was one of the people who asked for them I think so I thought I'd better pop up and say thanks. I love seeing other people's make up collections. That is a rather lovely looking stash. :heartpuls

Didn't I read somewhere that you do makeovers on single mums and battered women? Can I ask, do you they get the full Bobbi Brown treatment, or do you have a different kit for that? I hope that's not too nosy?

Thanks for all the lists and WIBAs and heads up about sale or special offers ladies, I am only a lurker on this thread but I always find them interesting. :T

A UU for me again today :D, only a small one as it was a trial size of Body Shop Coconut Shimmer Lotion. WIBA probably not, it does smell nice and does shimmer BUT it got thick very quickly and this made it hard to use :(

I have a smallish debt which ran up when my OH was out of work, I am, clearing this as soon as I can but when it comes to body/skin care and make-up I can only use certain products other wise I break out in burn blisters on my skin  so currently using Simple Moisturising Facial Wash (bought on a BOGOF), Simple Toner and E45 lotion for my face (I do have some travel size Body Shop stuff which I am wondering if I should use up first?), the main thing I want to use up is my Estee Lauder make-up (bought when I wasn't in debt!) but I hardly go out :(, but have started thinking I should wear it for me! :D

    Defo!

Make it a New years Resolution !
  • Got quite a few ins for chrimbo, so am now well stocked up on scrubs and shower stuff! Got the Ted Baker set and also some more S & G!

A UU Dove volumising conditioner WIBA - it was alright but nothing special.

My 3 girls also got enough smellies and makeup to last a lifetime so I am not buying any toiletries for some time!

Hope you all had a nice Christmas.

I went to the Boots half price sale yesterday but didn't find anything that I liked. I felt really proud that I came out with nothing. Instead, I bought a tub in BS with brazil nut body butter for £6, my skin feels so dry at the moment and all my body lotions are not rich enough and I love this body butter so I treated myself to one.

For Christmas I got 2 Dr Hauschka sample kits (one body kit and one face care kit). I really look forward to trying them. I also got a body oil, I don't like using it as a body oil since it doesn't feel rich enough but it's great for my really dry hands.

For January I am not plannning to buy anything apart from an eye cream.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

  • Well this afternoon I am a happy bunny.

I got up at 2.00 am on 17th December to buy 2 soap and glory tote bags. One for me and one as a present. All was well, they arrived etc and I checked and gave away one as a present. The other one was for me. The edge was taken off it Christmas Day when I opened to to find some of the shower gel had leaked all over the contents and left a black stain on the bottom of the box.

I rang Boots who offered me 750 points as a compensation but 2 days later were still not put on my card. The .com assistant said they would go on straight away. This morning I emailed them and within an hour I had received a full refund of £25 and I still have the items. I am delighted with this result. I now have smellies which I have not paid for :D

Does this mean I can buy some more (only joking) :rotfl:
