Why is it then that all the talk around cricket is always geared to Pakistan then ?0 -
Of course, I forgot about all that but now you bring it up I do remember all the scandleThere is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

Good idea - or similarly tell him you're coming to collect and just pay for the bat.0 -

Absolutely brilliant idea (should it all go pear shaped).
I could even suggest that they donate the bat to a local cricket club (I would feel better about that). I would consider that 99p well spent.0 -
I'd suggest if you said that, you may find the seller listing a similar bat before too long!0

reminds me of the time when, my daughter aged 3 at the time bid 500k on a pair of boots I'd been looking at after I stepped away for a moment:eek:
Needless to say no-one outbid us but to be honest I hadn't realised what had happened until I received the 'you have won' email!
Sent a grovelling apology and the seller let me off, that was the end of her online purchasing, I can tell you!!!There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -
Well, there has been no reply to my earlier email. I have now noticed that they charge 99p for all the cricket bats, but varying amounts for the postage - is that legal? Surely one cricket bat weighing the same as another (OK, there are ounces in it), should command the same postage from the same point of despatch?
I will send another email tomorrow, but what do I do after that? Do I have to inform ebay of the situation?

I have checked again, and the same seller has a range of bats, all priced at 99p, with the economy delivery priced at between £19.99 and £140.
I would say this is deliberately misleading.0 -
