Good morning everyone!
Kerri - you sound as if you had the kind of evening I had.
I got the majority of my wrapping done last night, so Im well chuffed. We are doing the great present drop on Saturday ( visiting the rellies we wont be seeing on Christmas day) so I wanted to be organised for that. Its also my niece's birthday on Saturday, so we'll combine the visit with a bit of lunch I think.
I also did my ironing and made a pasta salad for lunch today, so I have been quite productive!
Going for a NSD today, off to work, but thankfully there's a little thaw on so getting there shouldnt be as difficult as last week.
Have a lovely day everyone:):)
That's spooky - after posting and a revival cuppa, I made lunches for today for OH (tuna and onion sarnies) then cooked up some pasta for my lunch too (I already had the sauce made in the freezer and cut up a corgette that needed to be used to add to it), so just had to cook the pasta and will heat/cook it all at work this lunchtime.
I also did manage to muster up the energy to order OH's last xmas present online last night, so I could potentially clock up a NSD today (do need bread but I could use a Mr T voucher for that). So that's all the Xmas gift shopping done now :j just the veg to get for dinner nearer the time (rest is either already in my freezer or on order) and the snacks/drinks to buy next week with OH. Feeling quite organised, but then it is Xmas next sat already :eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Bloomin heck,Big Mumma! You, passing up a chance to snog:kisses3: S.......:santa2: Are you ill? Do we need to call 999? Are you pretending to be well-behaved? I think we should be told:rotfl::rotfl:solventsoon wrote: »....BigMumma, are you starting to behave yourself finally?:D....
I would have you know--& this applies to the Newbies in particular--nothing could be further from the truth & I am the epitome of a festive
No 8 wrapped & tagged yesterday but definite spends today. They are forecasting the white stuff--as in severe weather warnings--for later in the week so mum & I are going today to stock up as much as poss. I'm hoping to check out 1cel@nd too to see what their black forest gateaux are like as that's the vote for crimbly pud this year  although where on earth I could put it is a concern; the freezers are full already
Then again, when I say 'freezers' one is the bottom bit to a 5' fridge-freezer & the other is a little under-the-counter-affair but I so wish I had space for a goodly sized chestie

The way you two talk, anyone would think I hang from various notable landmarks in a less-than-sober state, whilst trying to attract the attention of passing young uniformed machos
