Morning everyone:A
jinty - you're sounding much more cheerful today:A, that's better.
Glad you've made a decision about the job and are not so stressed about the sofa. Enjoy your lunch today.
boult - hope the spends aren't too serious today. Re Dopey, she doesn't really post much on MSE any longer, shame but it happens...
Have a good day everyone:AThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Good morning and a group hug to all

I want to join, I'm not too late am I? I was going to set myself a target of 7 NSD where I would literally spend nothing at all. In a week I need to go Christmas and New Year food shopping but I have technically already paid for this as I put money on a prepaid Asda card, which I got a 5% discount on. I don't know if you would class that as a spend; if you do then my target is 7 NSD, if you don't then my target is 15 NSD.

Midday update:
Turns out I AM covered under my insurance, they are sending out someone to inspect the damage. They will determine if the sofa can be repaired ( doubtful) or needs to be replaced. Anyhow, its a result and I'm thrilled!
Had a mtg at work re the increase in hours, so I've agreed and I'm starting in January for 3 months
Off for lunch now with a couple of work pals, one of whom has just been promoted, so we'll have a wee celebration I think!:j
I'm SO relieved, thanks for all your good wishes:A
