Gulp - nearly halfway through the month and still only 2 NSD:o
Today may be one but considering ordering couple christmas pressies online in a sec
Hope everyone's doing better than me.DeeBee0 -
Evening all - well I've just sat down to put my feet up for the first time since about 7.30pm .... small spend day today, needed face cleanser and toothpaste for my travels this week (didn't think I could leave OH with no toothpaste for 3 days lol!) Also had to pick up a wedding acceptance card, and get me eyebrows done as they wouldn't have lasted til the weekend. My plan was then to finish my xmas shopping online tonight but my evening panned out as follows;
1) finally fix the radiator in the bathroom so it heats up (TRV pin was stuck)
2) top off the Apple, Date and Ginger chutney jars with material ready for charity crafty xmas thing at work tomorrow (its delicious btw Jinty - thanks for the recipie)
3) Make 'facecloth' Rudolph for friends gift
4) Dish out £105  in various money wallets for the menagerie of nieces and nephews Xmas
5) Begin wrapping Xmas presents
6) put washing away
7) hang up load of washing that was in the machine
8) finish addressing, stamping and sorting last few xmas cards
so....I haven't quite got around to the xmas shopping part this evening - had planned a NSD tomorrow but gonna have to sacrifice that now I think - I'm just too tired to be bothered to get my credit card out - still need to make sarnies for work tomorrow too....:(Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

This question comes up a lot, I'm sure some of the others will also offer advise but general, the 'rules' are up to you and depend on what you are trying to achieve. If the idea of putting the shops on a shop card is for you to try and be more organised when doing your food shops, then I would count the use of the card as a spend but not the actual loading of it. That way, you won't be tempted to keep popping back in and out of store for things you prob don't need.
Thanks kerri gt will be trying this out in january no chance of popping in and out of shop it takes me 40 mins to get there and a bit longer on way back i blame it on the shopping:rotfl:2nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -

Good morning everyone!
Kerri - you sound as if you had the kind of evening I had.
I got the majority of my wrapping done last night, so Im well chuffed. We are doing the great present drop on Saturday ( visiting the rellies we wont be seeing on Christmas day) so I wanted to be organised for that. Its also my niece's birthday on Saturday, so we'll combine the visit with a bit of lunch I think.
I also did my ironing and made a pasta salad for lunch today, so I have been quite productive!
Going for a NSD today, off to work, but thankfully there's a little thaw on so getting there shouldnt be as difficult as last week.
Have a lovely day everyone:):)
