Well resisted Cheryl, although i have to admit i succumbed to a non bakery cake while in Mr M last week, fruit cake with irish cream liqueur & chocolate things on top, i really hope it's nice as it's my special xmas treat!!!!
Glad you're ok Nicca, the car can be mended soooo much more easily than you!!
(((((((hugs)))))) to everyone still suffering from the snow, am praying our predicted overnight fall doesn't happen
Thanks everyone for all the support, feel much more like i have my sense of perspective back today, am off to visit mum on Friday  so expecting a bit of a spendy weekend as i can't see her in the house while he is there so am expecting to have to take her out for a couple of days, but it's definitely one of those can't be helped emergency spends!!!
Spent today, wanted some normality so went out for my usual Monday night drinks, but only my usual one round spend
Slightly worried by the fact that as i walked past the c*-*p i saw a really good toilet roll offer, think i might be following in your toilet roll anxiety footsteps Cheryl as i am feeling a desperate need to pop down there & get some this week!!!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

I've only just discovered this thread - amazing considering how often I'm on the forum. I'm not going to set myself a target this month as I've just moved and have lots that I need to buy but I will be keenly watching and I will try to build up as many days as I can starting from tomorrow (I bought a sandwich for £1.35 today as I couldn't be bothered making one this morning )
:hello:Hi serious_saver and welcome, even if you don't want to sign up "properly" this month, you're more than welcome to pop in and say hello:hello: if you need some motivation to avoid spending money:D. Good luck with getting lots of NSDs during December and hope you get your new home sorted out quickly.

Probably good for you to go out tonight, keeping to your normal routine is the best way to get through this.
:eek: to the toilet roll anxiety, Cheryl's just calmed down again, you'll start her off again:D:D

Couldn't get near the few demonstrations that were there, just too many people trying to see them. All in all, apart from the money off vouchers that I managed to grab off of a few stalls it was a bit of a letdown.
Well at least I can declare today my first nsd of the month. Only thing I spent was my £5 currys voucher which got me a hand blender.:j:j Might make some soup soon
Hope everyone has had a good daymoneypenny2k wrote: »Well resisted cw, we're proud of you.
I thought I put that yesterday was nsd no 1 for me, today would have been no 2 but I had to go and have my nails done as I managed to break one. Tomorrow won't be either as it's Salsa night. So fingers crossed for Wed and Thursday.
Keep safe all.The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hi lovely NSD gang:A
Just a quick visit for me this evening, I've updated all the numbers on the front page from today, you're all doing brilliantly:j:j
beanie - you've made your 6 in a row total, are you going for some more now? Hope you manage to get out soon ((((hugs))))
For the first time ever, I've made 6 in a row as well. I haven't been out of the house in December as the weather's not good here either and working from home I don't have to go out to work, but going a bit stir crazy now. Never mind, it's supposed to start thawing on Thursday, fingers crossed.
Enough of my ramblings..
'night everyone, see you all tomorrow

Reporting in with NSD NUMBER 5 please Mistress Spoony - took brother to see Mam early afternoon and she was same as previous couple of days, which is good, but it is really sore for her to swallow with her mouth being so dry - she stuck her tongue out (not being rude, just to let me see it) and it was bone dry, poor thing. Gave her a squirt of her artificial saliva spray and then some ice cream, but she could only manage a little
No more snow today, though, yet again, more is threatened for overnight :mad:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12
