25/01/21: Identity checks completed, solicitors instructed
27/01/21: Purchase survey & valuation complete, mortgage offer
received
05/02/21: Reduction agreed on partner's sale (under-valuation) & on
purchase. Mortgage offer amended
08/02/21: Buyers pack returned to solicitor - sellers packs already returned
26/02/21:
Partner's sale contract signed
10/03/21: Purchase searches all back
16/03/21: My sale contract signed
28/03/21: Purchase enquiries satisfied, Title
Report & contracts issued, contracts signed & returned
11/05/21: Still waiting on final enquiry in the adjoining chain to be resolved. Consent to break the chain granted, instruction to move to exchange given.
17/05/21: All parties agreed to June 3rd for completion
27/05/21: Exchanged on my sale only
28/05/21: ALL EXCHANGED!
03/06/21: Completion

To be honest, the positive is (for me anyway) that orders haven't actually been cancelled.
Normally at least a cancellation email would be sent. If I don't get a cancellation and don't get tights I may consider not "buying" from them again.............
............................not until the next glitch anyway. lol

Relying on you guys today to post any deliveries.............too much snow on top of snow, I doubt the driver will attempt a delivery today - it might get even worse. I'm in a cul-de-sac and I don't think I'll get out today and just heard the Metro system is off!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad news chaps!! I received an email today informing me that my order has been cancelled but a few of my friends have received their orders free of charge so far. A friend who works for Joules has told me that they will be chasing up payment for any free tights that have been sent out...not quite sure how they can do that though. I am a regular shopper with Joules and to be honest I feel let down by them, not the company I thought they were!

I suspect like me, my friend ordered just the tights as she doesn't normally shop with Joules. She only ordered after my tip off; I'll find out though. I'm guessing some are slipping through the net and receiving their free tights. I can't imagine how they can chase you up for payment after they have sent them out especially as it was FREE on their website, we all ordered in good faith...their mistake not ours! I have no issue with them cancelling my order although an apology would have been nice, but once the order has been sent out surely they have agreed the contract?0
