Hello everyone! :hello:
Today I woke up late, but still managed to get everyone to school on time without any major arguments!
Came back home with the intention of cleaning out the kitchen cupboards, but only managed to get two done before I got distracted by this thread! I don’t need a bread maker and I’ve put off buying one before now because I’m terrified that I’ll only use it once or twice, but I couldn’t resist!
By the time I had messed about and read a few reviews and patted myself and Thistle-down on the back for such a bargain, I realised it was too late for lunch and had to scoot round to collect the little one from school. Came home, fed Ds2 after school, supervised his homework etc and then got chatting to a friend.
Realised at 3.30pm that the pork chops that should have been in the slow cooker this morning, weren’t! Quick blast under the grill, followed by a quick blast in the microwave to give them a ‘good start’ Bunged them into the slow cooker with some onion, mustard powder, white wine and cream and hoping for the best!
The house is a shambles, but I’ve done a quick tidy and sprayed some Mr Sheen in the air…..this always makes Mr Pink sniff appreciatively when he comes home from work and tell me how clean the house looks!
Hopefully I’ll be more Old Style and organised tomorrow!
tired mum I’m thinking of you.
Aussie Your house looks great!
Beachbeth Your dogs look adorable!
Best wishes to everyone who’s feeling under the weather.

Hi all
Sorry I disappeared without notice - there was a bit of family business to take care of, which I didn't see coming. I've been out most of the time, but things should settle down again now.
Old Styling hasn't really happened over the weekend - the house is still a tip. I know I have looked extensively at Flylady, and I was even reasonably successful at the first Flylady challenge. But I think I am one of life's messy persons - it is such a battle to try and fight it.
BeachBeth, I loved the picture of your dogs. What cuties, I am sure they bring you so much happiness.
Mimi - don't cry...get even...
Big hugs to everyone else who needs them. Sorry, my head has been elsewhere this past while and I have missed everything.
Has our newest mum Michelle been around since her baby arrived?
Well, suppose I should go and do something...
Bye!

hi all, hope everyone is feeling better - tired mum - we're all thinking of you, take care.
Well, sausage casserole went down a treat, I love my slow cooker! and no OH didn't choke! Theres always tomorrow LOL
I finally have been out and bought a new loo. Its being fitted tomorrow, I just hope if I get a sink another time that it will look alright as it won't be a proper match. It is white though, how hard can it be?? Haven't claimed on insurance as its only cost £86 and my excess is £110. Hope I've done the right thing!
Anyway, have a lovely evening all and see you tomorrow xxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
Hi everybody, and ((((Hugs)))) to anybody who needs them!
Can I join the "not feeling very well" club, please? I would have phoned in sick yesterday but had an important deadline and my boss was away, so I finished the piece of work and phoned in sick today instead! Might be off again tomorrow (depends how I feel in the morning) but I'm sure I'll be back at work by Thursday at the latest.
Yesterday my company updated its firewall and the MSE forums are now blocked    which means I'll be on here less from now on
I loved the doggie and housie pics
Let me just add a pic of my lovely cousin with his lovely new baby son:
See you soon

BB - my bathroom is a three piece suite, all in white. The bits are from three different ranges - but you'd never know. There is no mismatched white or any obvious style differences. If you did happen to buy something which didn't blend you'd know before it was fitted, giving you a chance to return and exchange it. I think you'll be ok when the time comes for a new sink to be installed.0
