(((Hugs))) to those feeling fed up and under the weather.

It is wet and miserable here today too, doesnt matter too much as its my main admin day but would rather be snuggled up on the sofa watching telly all day.

Had a lie in this morning and therefore a very late start. Have done 1 load of washing and another is in there now & many more piles to go - the by product of a lazy weekend - will have no choice but to use the TD today. Have also emptied dw and cleaned kitchen but thats probably all the housework that will get done today.

Have absolutely loads of office work to do, at mo the children are playing nicely and hopefully will stay that way till OH gets up about 1pm and takes them swimming. Plan to get quite a lot done today but thats the plan most days!

Lunch will probably be something on toast and am thinking shepherds pie for tea.

PP - hope your DD doesnt have too many falls getting to know her Heely's my DD got them in America in Janurary and it took her a couple of weeks but she's now a whizz on them. There is a shop somewhere in Ashford I think that does training sessions. Would you mind PM me with where she got them as DD has more or less grown out of hers now?

Anway really need to get on so have a great day.

    Morning all!

Lovely sunny morning here. I got upset last night because of a certain relative and did a lot of crying. Feel better this morning but my eyes are puffed up and I look awful. Want to go to Sainsburys and get something for tea but don't want to go looking like this! :(

Got two teenagers at home, one because its half term from college and the other doesn't have to go back to Uni until Thursday. Trouble is, the oldest one is very argumentative and could argue all day about what colour the sky is! Just hope she doesn't stress me too much today!

Need some inspiration as to what to have for tea. Fancy ratatouille with something. Will have HM banana bread for pudding - yum!

    Have a good day everyone!

That sound rotten Beachbeth, take some time out for yourself, put some damp cold cotton wool on your eyes and try to relax for ten minutes. Go to Sainsbury's and treat yourself to something nice, a bar of chocolate or a bottle of wine.

    Gingin :)

Beachbeth, when I've had an attack of the puffy-eyes I wind my hair up in a french pleat, whack my biggest pair of dark sunglasses on and pretend I'm some sophisticated starlet type as I waltz up and down the aisles :D. Sure everyone else in Asda thinks I've got a black eye but it makes me feel good :o

    Morning All,

Having a truly dreadful day at work. Could cry today as I had entrusted someone to do something and they haven't done it again.

If you want a job done properly do it yourself.

Hugs to all in need, Shez in particular. Any joy with Talk Talk?

DH still really poorly, DS is running the house, made breakfast, answered phone, looking after DD. DH is still in bed!!! DS is only 8 bless his little heart. Will let him choose dinner tonight as a reward.

OS wise, not a lot dinner will be DS choice, have put a wash on will hang that out at lunch when I pop back and pop another on. Need to sweep floors and change our sheets as DH has been in bed for almost two days solid!!!

    Have a lovely day all!!

Just thought I"d post a picture before I hit the shower & work on my spreadsheets. This was taken yesterday so pretty up to date. That is not the colour of the house, just the colour of the boards. Painting is last on the list. Will post the inside tomorrow night.

Snowy How is w**k going? Hope you are sleeping well.

Churchmouse Hope you are feeling a bit better this week.

Shez Know exactly where you are coming from. ;) (((((hugs)))))

I hope no one minds but here is a picture of four of my dogs (Cavalier tri colour is missing from the picture). They are lovely dogs and keep me sane!

Left to right they are Lily, Star, Gracie and Mindy.

Taplady and shez - I need to diet too, complained about my knee hurting (from doing the twist! -not very well- at the 40th BD on Sat) and DH said it must be my weight and I knew what to do about it!! Maybe he'll choke on the sausage casserole (hope not really!)
    :rotfl:

I know what you mean! after telling me I needed to lose weight my DH sat and ate 2 portions of cake in front of me!

Have just made my lentil soup and am looking forward to trying it soon!
Nice pic of the dogs beachbeth!:D

DS1 still in bed! well he's a teenager so its normal I suppose!
DS2 has gone off to take part in a fund raising presentation to try and get funding for a base for his kids club which integrates kids with special needs and their friends and siblings! They have lots of fun and go all over the place but have no set base to do activities such as cooking in.

The soups calling me! this dieting lark makes you hungry!:D
    Do what you love :happyhear

Well we are hoping about 4 more weeks. Have had a few setbacks this week. Water won't be connected until 2 weeks time. Council *lost* our paperwork. The shower tray I bought from Ebay, the hole thingy is too small  and won't pass the final inspection. I will earmark it for the Granny flat at a later stage. So will have to get another one now. We will have power hooked up later this week or early next and DH can hook up a light and we can work up there at night then. DD will be home to keep an eye on DGS. It should move along a wee bit faster then.

Beachbeth Your dog's are adorable. My two have been traumitised as they have been unsurped in the pecking order atm.

Well done no spreadsheeting tonight. Surprise!! :D Off to bed shortly. Have a great day everyone. Byeeeeeeeeeee
