An example is: 'of',instead of 'off'.
Everbody's doing it!
haha spelling correction fail
He has cleared his car 'of' snow and not 'off' snow though hasn't he? (unless he has actually lifted the car off the snow)
It would have been wrong if he had said: "just cleared the snow of my car" as it should be 'off'.0 -
What have we here?
Looks like "jimbo650" couldn't even copy & paste my post. Instead opting to re-write it out himself and include his own mistakes along the way.
I bet "jimbo650" is still upset after I outed his cars-direct-inc scam last night.
Oh and I cleared my car of snow, not my car off the snow.0 -

If you're not going anywhere, leave it, it will do no harm. If you're going out, you must remove all snow (it says so in the highway code) as it is dangerous if it falls into the path of trailing vehicles. Also, as someone else said, it's dangerous to you if it slips off your roof, down your windscreen.

Another thing you may wish to consider is if you park in the street then it's a lot easier for snow-ballers to grab a handful of snow from your car roof or boot than bending down to the pavement and this could damage the underlying paint if they have anything sharp on their hand (ring, zip on sleeve etc).0

"contagious" Jimbo! Why not correct other people's spelling? Because you can't spell either. Damn, I've fed the troll...0 -

But if you leave the snow on, you can brake heavily, and use it with the wipers to clean the screen of all the salt when the washers are frozen up.0

IMHO - keep your car ready to drive if needs be and clear off the snow. If you or family member become ill, you have another emergency or you simply run out of food / beer (!) you may need to use your car at short notice. I tend to clean mine off with a soft broom as snow builds, which would leave a quick warm through and then ready to go.0
