Leave snow on car or sweep it off?

With the weather being so cold at the moment can you advise if your not going to use your car for a few day's is it better to leave it with the thick snow undisturbed over it like a cocoon, or sweep it of and leave it to the weather elements? whats the pro's & cons?
My mind tends to wander............If found please return;)

Flips a coin. Heads you sweep, tails you stay in the warm and leave it.

Last year I left my car with snow on it.

A lot of it actually got removed by kids (of all ages) who wanted to throw snow balls at each other.

Leave the snow on otherwise you will have a frozen screen but less likely with a snow blanket.

removing any snow with the normal tools found in everyones boot will sratch the paint. removing if necessery need to be done by cloth of any type (even that make small scratches). best is to leave any snow on roof ,bonnet(if over 3 inches try removing at least the top layer by hand),boot and any painted surfaces. remove snow form windows and drive off. the bonnet will melt away once the engine heat up and the roof snow will be blown away over the car behind you so not your problem :P

As long as you dont drive off with it on which I am sure you wont
  • Use the stiffest brush you have and sweep it off really well, your paintwork will appreciate the exfoliation.

Will be if a traffic cop sees you and does you for dangerous driving. Selfish stupid behaviour.

and particularly entertaining if it comes off in big lumps as you accelerate up to 70 on the slip road of the M1 and then pull out in front of a motor bike :D
