Thank you all for your replies - I have just been on Lakeland site and seen the cake store and cereal store and will probably be getting them. Oh dear I feel a spending spree coming on!!! I will probably go over the the QVC shop in Warrington too, to see if they have any reduced ones. Ooh! I love it when I find something new like this for me to collect!!!!

Just double check that none of them are damaged before you go away from Birchwood. I didn't and the last set I had a couple were damaged, but they were still an incredible bargain. A 6 piece bowl set was £6.56 and a 13 piece set icluding the box with the lid was £14.58.

Lock and lock are brilliant. My mother-in-law swears by them. Food lasts so much longer. Not worth sending back if you have bought from QVC as you have to pay for the postage wether you keep them or not. If you want anymore though i would advise you look around in the shops because they are so much cheaper.

I got a few from Sainsbury's - not sure if they are more expensive there or not cos I'd not heard of them/seen them before and didn't realise it was a QVC/Lakeland thing! One of the sizes is ideal for butter.

they are beyoootiful - and lovely girly pink!!

Think the biguns will definitely be used for kids stuff.

  • Lock and Lock containers are brilliant. They are so much more effective than cheaper ones I've bought in the past. I bought mine very reasonably from Ebay - well worth the outlay.

I think they were just under £20. Item 824807 or 823963 look quite good value to me, though the postage always bumps them up. They sometimes have sets on the website clearance as well. HTH

I've treat myself to another 4 small tubs today, went into my local Boyes store and just couldn't resist after reading this thread! I got 2x350ml and 2x470ml for £5.50 which I didn't think was too bad. I didn't know you could get them with pink lids, mine are blue but I would have liked the pink!

Before long we'll have started a "lock&lock savers club" with the amounts in our signatures :rotfl:

  • Hi all,
I need a airtight/watertight containter for taking my Aloe Vera juice on an airplane - unfortunately I can't take the liquid in hand luggage, so the bottle will have to go in my suitcase. So, do you think Lock&Lock will be watertight and safe for going in my suitcase? I really can't do without my Aloe Vera for more than 2 days.
    thanks
