I have my lids for storage in a basket/large box too, pots stacked up, works fine for me. I'm the only dishwasher filler/washer upper here too so possibly why it works.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hi Morganlefay:hello:

Now you have plenty of suggestions, I have added your thread to the existing one on Lock n locks to keep all the ideas together

My Mum started me on them, and i now have my very own cupboard :D Before i had tried keeping them in a big canvas shopper bag, but i had to empty it out each time I wanted one. With their very own cupboard, they all fit in and i put them in matched up with their lid. Even if you can get everyone to put them all in one cupboard, it's less likely you will lose bits and pieces

    Good luck:)
    thanks

  • For anyone new to starting their Lock & Lock collection, I highly recommend the nestable ones sold by Lakeland. The empty containers sit neatly inside each other when not in use and they have only three sizes of lid to fit the various capacity tubs...

I'm also an L&L fan. I hope that you don't mind me adding my little tip. I keep a couple of empty ones in the fridge then ask anyone opening cold meat, cheese etc to transfer it from the packaging to L&L. It's so easy that they actually do it! No more curled up corned beef ...:j

I haven't read all 9 pages to see if its mentioned but Spices of India currently have 20% off Lock & Lock boxes. I don't know if they work out cheaper than other places but it might be worth checking.

good grief, what's wrong with you?! Why did you have to post that?! I had seen the joinable ones on QVC and was highly tempted. I just love tupperware far more than I ever imagined I would :rotfl:

Lately i noticed a few of mine getting grubby looking and was delighted to see you can remove the seals and clean underneath. Only problem is now I can't stop!:o
