Is this good value for lock and lock:

I recently treated myself to some lock & lock boxes for storing flour, and I'm a convert  Although the 1.8l ones I bought don't quite fit a 1.5kg bag of flour, it's a great improvement on having all the packets cluttering up the cupboard. I'm now thinking about getting a few more - what size would be best for a 1kg bag of porridge oats?
    2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j
  • i just buy lot of them, have a 1.5ltr fridge jug, 10 ltr square one can fit 6kg in so 4 bags @1.5kg each, 2 x 2ltr cereal ones (easy to pour it out and good for flour), several smaller ones for lunches etc,

i think i need to par down the ones i have tho, my counters are looking a bit crazy :D

Every so often Mr M's has their version on special offer. Mr T also sells their own version. Lakeland do the original Lock and lock.
    Banana Lovers
Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning
  • the tesco ones are good, of course real lock n lock are best but i think MrT is a close second, none of mine have leaked/let things in

Tesco had three for two a couple of weeks' ago (of no use to you now, of course, but maybe again some time) and Wilkinsons had them. They all seem to do different sizes which doesn't help with the stacking bit but the Wilkinsons ones were better sizes for me.

Lakeland now do a 1.5kg flour container: item B on this page

    Hiya
I first heard about lock and lock on here from you ladies. Today qvc have them on special again, here are the latest ones that are stackable.
I hate qvc's postage charges but it still works out cheaper than buying them individually at lakeland.
