I've got some chopped fresh pineapple in one right now, chopped 2 days ago. In the fridge of course, let me go look.
Chomp chomp, yes, very good, kept well.

    :hello:

I have just been informed by my MIL (I think reliably - she's a QVC addict) that there will be a special value on lock n lock on the 21st of June - a chance to stock up maybe? I know I'll be there!

    Me too Daysieblue!
I love my Lock & Lock!
I bought my first lot from QVC back in October last year and I have been a convert ever since. Even converted my Mum from her Tupperware! :D
I am amazed out how much fresher it keeps the veg in my fridge.
I am hoping the TSV next week will have some larger sizes for my baking ingredients, etc. Fingers crossed....

Lock & Lock are the best but, if you are on a budget, I have also bought the look-a-like from Tesco and they are almost as good. I don't tend to use mine for re-heating, but they are excellent in the freezer and for storage of dried goods/leftovers in the fridge. I even dropped a frozen container and it didn't crack or break.

  • Don't know if this applies to all Aldi stores but our local one will be selling three different sets of lock and lock type boxes this Sunday for £5.99 a set. Here's the link:

Do any of you know whether the imitation containers in Matalan are any good at all?

There is a pic of them here: http://www.matalan.co.uk/pages/product-view/004/036/3156/klip-it-5-piece-container-set

In case any of you are interested, the Lock & Lock TSV is now showing on QVC's website (not supposed to appear until midnight!).

    Hi

I'm at work and won't be able to do this for myself. But, has anyone worked out if the TSV mentioned above is good value?

I know they usually are but I would like to check

    many thanks
