What % were the window tints and which windows got done?
Full Tints where only allowed on the back because the place where I got the tints done said I was not allowed to have them on the front passenger windows and they where kept clear.0 -

It has been my theory and experience for some time that if I get an insurance quote without mods and then go back and say "oh I forgot to mention XYZ" or "im thinking about doing XYZ", they often say "oh it's ok, makes no difference" or "we'll need an admin charge to change your details" (typically £25 or so).
BUT if you go straight in and tell them on the original quote, you'll get shafted for the mods......
My theory is that they don't want anyone to know what they charge on top of the premium, for modifications.
Would this be fairly accurate?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Not in my experience. The Admiral group load heavily on mods (and don't cover a lot of them) regardless of whether they happen before or after the initial quote. The charges are all system generated and can't be overridden, so if tints add 10% to the premium, they'll add 10%.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Have you mentioned the mods as part of the claim process?
You can expect Admiral to deduct additional premium for them from any settlement you get for the car.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

My lass the idiot forgot to tell them over the phone and only told them about the hands free kit {reason she does not drive the car}. Now I dont know what to do because she told them that we only had the hands free kit {this after the incident}. Arrrggghhh0 -
They most probably will not believe the letter {We do have a copy} and think we are lying through our teeth. My head is in bits!0

Friend of mine had his modded car stolen and he was shafted all the way, with him it was wheels that were changed."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

you got paid out from the 3rd party cover

Why is your girlfriend calling the insurers when the car is nothing to do with her?
I don't think you're going to get a good outcome here. I can't believe you changed the plates without telling your insurers directly!I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
