I am 60 years old, and have been unemployed 20 years, i have been 'parked up' on sickness benefits for 12 of those years, coincidentally my current residence happens to be a multi story car park, i'll work, no problem, but just who in the hell is going to give me a job, with that bloody c.v.:beer::(

Claim Pension credit - £130 pw plus your rent and CT paid.

i'm using a computer in a public library, i was having a rant, fact is i'm worried about all these proposed changes in the benefit system, fact is i'm willing to work, but not able at the moment, and i dont think the decision makers will be particularly sympathetic to my plight, i'ts all about clearing this bloody debt, just scared is all:eek:

No need to be worried now you're reached 60. Do as ONW says and put in a claim for Pension Credit.

really ? i'm a bloke though, don't i have to be 65 to get a pension, or is 'pension credit' different from a normal pension?
