Wish I could do packingI have a horrible feeling things are going to collapse at my end
MAYBE i'll give the EAs a ring later to see what the buyer is saying about this mail for someone else. Hopefully that should spur some action? I dunno.... Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

So pleased, but also so busy now!! I've already packed a lot but there's a long way to go. Plus all the utilities and change of addresses and cancellations to do. Its not stressful though like the last month has been.
Have a good weekend everyone.

Moring again
posties just been. My mortgage redemption cert has just come through- its slighlty incorrect, but I can deal with that, it has a redemption date of monday
Is this something I should get excited by or is it just a bog standard formality? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I just been checking my mortgage offer. They seem to be charging me £25 for insurance charges (seems to be building insurance), but I already have insurance covered I got through the broker on condition of mortgage ofer and it isnt £25.0

Thanks I tried them today but phone just keeps hanging up on me. I will ring them up on Monday. I am not sure what redemption statement is, unless its the letter I got from my old mortgage company to my solictor about how much I owe and charges.
I have several issues now with regard to rip off charges, 1 being the £175 to my old mortgage company, FSA say the charge has to be reasonable and proportionate to the costs incurred, so I will ask for a break down.
Also the extra £500 for taking the mortgage when it was original £99 in key fact, they have sat on this since 14th November when charge was increased on 17th but I only found out on Monday, nice for them to tell me when I paid out for stuff so I will have great difficulty tell them to get lost now.0 -

yes thats what it is.
Apparrently im being charged over 200 for reddeming, when repeatedly they told me after the 3.12.06 there is no charge. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

We got our DiP on 25th May, offered on our house on 26th May and moved in on the 30th of June.

The fact that I work in the industry may have helped. And that timescale included getting bankruptcy discharge papers.
BY THE WAY
INSURANCE CHARGE - lenders charge you the £25 for having your insurance elsewhere, it's normally a one-off charge, and £25 is pretty cheap, some of them charge £50.
The redemption fee is an admin fee, not a penalty fee. You will ALWAYS pay a fee for redeeming your mortgage.
Check your current mortgage offer, you'll find there's fees on there as well, possibly deeds fees as well.0 -
yeah ive paid the deeds fee thats 25 quid a few weeks back.
I know I had an early redemption fee, but that expired on the 3rd Dec, when my fixed product ended. Im now automaatically moved onto the SVR, and Ive been repeatedly told theres no charges. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most?
