Morning all, this is the first chance I've had to post it's chaos in my house! I've just received a parcel from ELC but the paperwork I've received with it says the total paid as over £90! Not only that some of the items are missing and have still been charged so I've paid over full price ekkkkkk! It says 'paid with card' it's my husbands card so I can't even ring to query it until he gets home. The amount the order when through as yesterday was closer to £40, if we have actually been charged full price then it all going back! Would have lost the £7.95 p&p but oh well, worth a shot.Midwife in the making....0

If they have taken payment for full price you need to call them and get them to refund the difference, your confirmation clearly states the amount you offered to pay and by them despatching the order they have accepted your offer, taking more money is actually illegal and I would be raising the issue with them for a refund for the difference to be processed immediatelyComping wishlist for 2017

Thanks Savvy, I'll try ringing them, if they say they need to speak to OH I'll just ring him on the mobile and get him to call them. If I manage to get the bits for the original price I'll be over the moon as I have three of my little ones with birthdays just after xmas lol!Midwife in the making....0 -
A lot of companies send confirmations out that only state the full price when in actual fact you HAVE paid the lower price. Thanks babyfriutella, fingers crossed! Although I've just noticed on the paperwork it also says, 'any charges shown above include discount' anyway, will get onto them now and let you know xMidwife in the making....0 -

Annoyingly I cannot see what's been taken out of my account yet, as I have money outstanding but can't see where it's allocated to. It certainly looks like I have been charged full price for my order.
They won't need to speak to your hubby as it was your order, they will refund to the card you paid with. If my order arrives today I will be interested to see what has happened. Someone else posted at the beginning of this thread saying they have had problems with ELC taking the full amount in the past too.Comping wishlist for 2017

Can I ask which number people are using to call, I tried the number someone listed on here and it doesn't work but the number on the website is a premium rate and i don't want to have to keep using that oneComping wishlist for 2017
