Interesting one this, isn't it? We all know it's a glitch & we're trying to abuse it - but when the company is cancelling due "to lack of stock" when their website shows otherwise, where does that leave them legally?

I mean, if they said they had cancelled the orders due to code abuse, then fair enough, but they are not even giving that as a reason.

Not impressed to be lied to either. Have emailed them to say so.

It took me a very long time on the phone but I eventually managed to get an order re-placed for the original price.

I told them they'd broken their own T&C's. My order wasnt cancelled due to a misprice (which their T&C's state is the only reason they can cancel an order), but because it wasnt in stock, when that's clearly a lie as I had each item in my basket again. I pointed out that had they told me that it had been cancelled due to a price error I wouldnt have had a leg to stand on, but they had blatantly lied to me, & that the OFT wouldnt look kindly on that.

It must surely be WRONG for a company that calls itself "Early Learning" and is aimed at teaching children, to tell such an obvious untruth.

I'm not cross about the glitch not being honoured, that's sort of c'est la vie - and what we expect from these (the odd one you win, most you lose) occurences, however, for the company not to tell the truth is deplorable.
