Good for you! Well done! :T0 -
Don't you all think the moral high ground is off limits for glitch abusers?
not attacking anyone, just amused at the hypocrisy0 -

I don't mind the glitch being 'cancelled' that's not what is bothering me.....it's the lie. I went and put exactly all the same things in my basket to find them all still in stock. What if yesterday, you were a normal Joe Bloggs shopping on ELC, you had this code that you received from them in an email, so great you'll get some shopping done. You're not only buying big ticket items, but you're buying some craft stuff or some books or whatever while you're at it, might as well only pay one postage price......you go to the check out and think 'holy cow' look at that...look at all that saving. What are you gonna do, phone ELC up and say 'Uh, look, I've just ordered £150 worth of stuff, but I'm only being charged £40? NO WAY!
So, now you, normal Joe Bloggs gets home from work today to find that your order has been cancelled due to 'Stock Availability'. Normal Joe Bloggs thinks, wow...kind of a coincidence that everything I ordered is out of stock and never thinks twice about it. He/She has lost out on a genuine sale because ELC just couldn't tell the truth in the email and say 'The code you used was being abused by so many hundreds of people and due to that we cannot fulfill the orders. If you used the code 'legally' please get in touch with us blah blah blah' Or something to that affect. Us 'glitch abusers' don't mind NOT getting the glitch, we mind the being lied to so that a company can try and save their butts.

I totally agree.......well said!!:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0 -
I havent had a cancellation email yet either, my order still says processing.
I agree its not fair of the company to lie and now it has backfired with people kicking up a fuss about it.
The advert for the code was in the newspaper yesterday so a normal 'non glitch' user could have deffo been out and about shopping! Won't look good if they cancel everyones orders without telling the truth!0 -

i agree that they should just be honest about it, say yes sorry we made a mistake but we wont be honouring it. i have spent a good £300 in ELC in the past few months and would be very grateful for them to honour it but if they send me the "out of stock" email i will be annoyed and will think twice before shopping there in the future. you can get the craft kits much cheaper in other places anyway!! I think they would have had a lot more respect if they were honest0 -

The code used was advertised in the Daily Mail yesterday - so thousands must of used it. The terms and conditions printed with it were very restrictive also. I used it yesterday but as yet have not had a cancellation email. Just a question of time - they must have thousands to work through.0

Thing is, they have granted 2 orders (that i know of) so it wud b unfair to not grant them all, at the end of the day it aint our fault, they advertised the code... was there for whoeva tom... & harry 2 see... so.. on their head b it!April 2011: Signed Puma bodytrain by Kimberley Walsh, Book, 2 x R Kelly concert tickets,0
