I hope it comes off even though I spent more than intended. I have my son's bday right before christmas and then my middle son's not long after so they have got some good stuff if the order comes. Plus presents for friends children too. We shall see. If not then I am back to square one so if they are going to cancel I hope they make it quick!
The best of it is the stuff for my son's was sale so the £5 did not come of the items I ordered for them, apart from one!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I think sometimes employees of certain companies spy on forums like this. In fact earlier i was reading the compitions section and noticed a guy had posted that he had won a kintex thingy for the xbox, he couldn't believe it was for real! He posted that he worked for harrods and was just here to keep an eye on the harrods thread
And as you can read the forums without having to sign up i guess you never know who could be out there watching!0 -
had someone from harrods post last night too on the harrods £100 off code thread.Top wins - £10,000 lottery/daily mirror, £5000 asda vouchers, £1000 washing machine, 2 week canaries cruise, VIP trip to the olympics, 46" 3D TV, personal chef, kitchen aid mixer, £1000 tesco vouchers - latest prize £10,000 road trip with kit Kat0

Claire. The poster did a huge list of items that they had managed to get for less than a fiver plus delivery. If, and I say If, a company is going to honour a glitch. It won't do so if it looks like some are taking the !!!!. Add to that that suddenly a hundred orders come up with an average price of £4.00, it doesn't bode well.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
jus read this on the FAQ on early learning...
Question
How do I know if my online order has been successful?
Answer
When you send an order through this website, we will reply to you with an email confirming everything. Please check that all the information is correct on this confirmation email. As soon as you send your order through the web, it is a firm purchase.
On the other hand, their T&C state:
3. Acceptance of order:
We will notify you of our acceptance of your offer to purchase by email shortly after we receive it and at that point a binding agreement between us will be in place on these terms and conditions*. If we do not accept your order for any reason or the price of the product has increased between the time of the order and our acceptance of it (or if a supplementary delivery charge applies), we will email you to advise you of the change. You will then need to resubmit your order. Only credit and debit cards are acceptable as payment for orders via this site. Gift vouchers are not accepted.
*but subject to our right to withdraw such acceptance where your offer relates to goods that have been priced below that which we intended.
I can see these orders getting cancelled.Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.0 -
I don't know if it's the same for everyone....but the money is out of my account and it still says 'Processing' on the Order page. Good sign maybe.....*starting to get her hopes up*

Same for me, but i havnt had an email confimation. Did you have a confirmation?0 -
When you order by card from most websites, the money disappears from your available balance - think of it as "on hold" for payment to the company you ordered from. It isn't an indication of success.
I'm not being negative on purpose, as I too have an order pending, but just a bit of realism.
I'll get excited when I see it's been dispatched.Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.0 -
if they dont honour it then i think they bein very unfair, they charge ridiculous prices on their items anyway and have probally had more custom in the last couple of hours than they have in a month! lol.. at the end of the day, it wasnt our glitch, it was their fault entirely and if they didnt want it to happen, then mayb they shud of had sum1 better sortin the codes out.April 2011: Signed Puma bodytrain by Kimberley Walsh, Book, 2 x R Kelly concert tickets,0
