Just put through a huge order - wonder if it will be honoured?

Got confirmation email so hope it comes - someof it is Christmas presents and birthday presents!

    Question

How do I know if my online order has been successful?
    Answer

When you send an order through this website, we will reply to you with an email confirming everything. Please check that all the information is correct on this confirmation email. As soon as you send your order through the web, it is a firm purchase.

    Thanks Vixxy!!!

  • I'm with bondjamesbond on this one. I'm all for getting a bargain but it seems that this part of the site brings out the worst in people. For a lot of people the original £5 off £25 would've been good enough...

well....ive had this. Does it mean ill get it? At the bargain price? i hope so...but then ill be annoyed if it goes through and i couldve added more. Didnt want to add things under a fiver as i thought this was a bit greedy, but then i suppose if you dont ask, you dont get! Anyone else thinking this?
  • none of the codes working 4 me
  • I put things that were under a fiver, but I also added things that were more. Maybe it will even everything out? haha

  • So can they still cancel it once you've had the confirmation e-mail? I've ordered a few things and got the confirmation e-mail, I've never managed to catch a glitch before so I'm very excited about it! Does anyone know if they can cancel it after confirmation? Thanks

Looks like they are on to it. Code just gone invalid in my basket. Was working 2 minutes ago.

As far as I'm concerned, some of the items on that site are completely overpriced, hence why they've been able to reduce a lot of them by 50%. If they couldn't afford to lose 50% of a £10/£20 item then they wouldn't do it. So this is the same thing. For all you know it could be an intentional glitch to get rid of old stock, with them hoping some people will order items over £5 and still pay something - like I did.

It's probably unlikely, but they're not a charity or a small business, why feel sorry for them?

EDIT - I suggest taking a print screen of that FAQ so you can argue your point if you want to if the orders get cancelled - they may well change it!
