None of us have any right to glitches, if they work, if they are honoured then we are lucky. If they don't work, if they are cancelled then thats that. We can't moan about it, say its unfair, say they're a big company etc etc.
You will win on some glitches and loose on others but none of us has any rights on glitches at all.
Where one glitch doesn't work out the very next one is just lurking round the corner so we move on and try again.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -
he won't wake up with nothing at all........ His mum has got him a couple of little toys and she has a few friends who will think of him also......... I only ordered £28 worth of stuff (full price) which i would have been happy to pay anyway............. karma is a wonderful thing..... many moons ago we were the ones struggling in her position and we were helped by lovely friends and it feels right to return that now.............
ETA- Thank you for offering to share but honestly she will be fine........ she is a wonderful mum and we will all make sure the little man doesn't go without. He is only 2 so doesn't need silly money spent to produce a happy wee man.
Hi
Read your posts - wonderful comments and very true. For your friend and anyone else in similar circumstances, don't ever be afraid to ask. Been there, and there are some amazing oranisations out there to make sure no child wakes up without gifts on Christmas morning. Sally Army and local Giving Trees are two that spring to mind. Many folk are too proud or embarrassed to ask for themselves (I know I was!), but you can contact these organisations on behalf of someone who may need that little bit of help at this time of year. I received the most amazing hamper from the Salvation Army one year and whilst we all know we don't need any of this stuff, it still makes a difference to receive it, especially for children.0 -

Wish i could say the same, but i know i can get the books i ordered for approx the same price maybe a couple quid cheaper from Amazon and with free delivery, so if they cancel my order i won't be buying it full price from them.0 -

They are on to it now anyway...........and I really really hope that some of those early orders get through. I suspect cancellation e mails will follow shortly. If people made moderate orders it would take them longer to get onto a glitch. People often take it to the extreme to see what they can get away with (like ordered 30, 40, 50, 60 things etc) and if there is an influx of that then that will flag up hugely!! I am not the retail police and do not feel the need to judge what people do. Personally, I have a "little go" if I get a few things great. Those that are braver and do a lot - go for it. At the end of the day, you will always get those that push it to the max regardless and I don't see the point wasting time having a slanging match on these forums with people getting upset with others ordering a lot.It has happened before, it will happen again and there is not a lot to be achieved getting upset about it and wasting time.
HOPE THOSE WITH EARLY ORDERS GET THROUGH THOUGH!!!
I agree, I wasn't being the retail police either - I don't mind what people order. Was just mentioning that the 'push it to the max people' as you call them can and do extract the urine, flagging the system and causing everyone to lose out. I for one would rather more people got a glitch saving a tenner or so than a couple saving a hundred. Maybe I should start a communist style manefesto :rotfl:0 -
