Morning lovelies!
Can't get motivated to do anything, have been in the house since Saturday due to horrendous snow, until yesterday when I ran out of supplies and had to venture out, wish I hadn't as developed 2 flat tyres !!!!!!? inc the spare so had to leave car and walk home with shopping lol need to go out and get it sorted today. Black Dog keeps nipping at my legs cos I'm also off work so no dosh coming in and a whole £25 to my name in the bank need gas/elec and more food to last till at least Monday when hopefully it will be clearer and the car will be fixed. POOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I hate snow!! and cars! lol
On the plus side it's December 1st :j not putting the decs up yet but my new advent calendar from Lakeland is going up, have cleared a space especially.
It's too cold in my kitchen to venture in, am hold up in my living room as it's the only warm room in the house, I'm one step short from having a camping stove and a flask
ok get a grip embb....listy!
get to car
take wheel to mechanic
if fixed straight away take back and put on
get home
make beds
unload DW reload DW both at hyper speed or wearing a duvet
fling hoover around
look out of window in hope of snow meltage
huff puff tut and mumble profanities when it isn't
sort tea
put up new calendar and stroke it
Right gonna read back on the thread now I've had my whinge lol.
laters gators :hello: x0 -
Pinch and a punch for the first of the month
Morning all
Only a tiny bit of snow here but pavements are packed ice, saw one mum go flying on the school run, thankfully she was ok if shocked.
Mazz congrats on your engagement and sorry about the GL
I'm going to do the bathrooms today, not checked the list yet and then do my morrisons shop and some ironing.
See you all later - take care if you head outThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Embb ((hugs)) we're the same at the minute with no work etc and it's driving me closer to the BD so we'll have to all kick him together. Snow days are ok if you're getting paid, unlike many x what about searching through what you have, meal plan then I'd prioritise with gas & electric, you could always use the emergency for a bit. Pleased I got 'pre paid took out as I can't even afford the direct debit at the mo which is less than we've used

I can hear cars sliding all over, think I best go see what's happening as one of out cars is on the street and if someone hits it I'll scream. People been crashing into cars locally and driving off, grrr! One day I might be more organised...........
