  • Thanks for the HHC Mollina Girl
I managed to strip and change the bed
dust stuff decluttering as I went
sort out a basket of washing into drawers
pick up all dirty washing and put a wash on

It looks like we're in a snow globe here, and someone is shaking us up! The wind is whipping snow off the roofs, and as the street is so narrow, and the buildings quite high, there are also updrafts which swirl the fresh flakes around. That and the steady fresh falls that are coming in very regularly.
    It's very pretty.

Off for another HHC at 1130 if anyone wants to join in?

JoJo glad your DD got back safe, I'd be looking for heads to roll as it was a silly thing for them to do, hope you get something sorted x

Lil_me thank you, we're all in it together so we'll just have to keep each other going, it's madness the way some folk drive in this weather, some of them leave me perplexed to say the least x

    Congrats mazzy x

hope your DD fells better soon nicki, and all other poorlies xx

    chin up hellyboo (((((hugs))))) x

Boddy will pm you shortly x

Well teenie is just about to head off to the shop for some leccy, he's set the WM away too with some of his pile. I'm fed now which made me feel better lol and calendar is up yay! Beds are made and I braved the kitchen to do the DW and a S&S so all good in there for the mo.

I've got enough meals for the next 3 days and judging by accuweather it's getting better on Friday so y'know it's looking better. I can always ask DD1 o do a money transfer to my bank if I run out totally, don't want to but it's an option if needs must.

valli We are all finding it amusing seeing the snow panic everywhere. Now that we are all safe indoors, that is. We had snow like this every year until around 86 then it just stopped. We all became really complacent. 6ft drifts ATM

I have just spoken to a sales woman on the phone at great length about the weather, skiing etc. Well she did ask!

hellyboo It doesn't sound like you are having a good day. Why not give flying a rest for a while and just 'be' with the kids. :)
sea_farerswife I hope your back is better soon. Have you tried a hot water bottle on it. It eases mine sometimes.

shysarah I forgot about the drawer under the bed.

Printed my christmas card list and faffed about with the default on Office 2007 so the line spacing is 1 (and not 1.15) on my labels for the envelopes.

  • Poohbear - ive got a heat pad on my back at the moment, that is starting to help but its sitting/standing/leaning/walking/driving that makes it stiffen. its my sacroiliac joint thats inflamed so taking lots of nice drugs to make the pain go away :j

PenPen - I find that, so what ive done is well since its just me in the house at the moment is put a spare couple of bath mats in the hall by the door and i then strip off my bottom half and put a clean pair of joggers or trousers on which i keep on the desk in the hall. it means i dont traipse it all through the house.
