tired achey grumpy sort of day

gave in and had fish and chips for tea (not very diet or mse friendly)

    did some school work

will catch up with the house tomorrow honest!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
  • Toots - Can I be added to the ironing list please? Have been ironing for nearly 2 hours this evening so have all the twins school stuff done. Hoping to get some added benefits of a steam facial whilst I slave away.
Can I ask a really silly question but am I right that the challenge isn't just emptying the ironing [STRIKE]basket[/STRIKE]mound but keeping it empty for New Years Eve (I have visions of standing in my finery on NYE with hubby holding out a glass of something bubbly wilst I speed iron to the count of Big Ben!)

    Star Please TOOTS

Okay have spent most of they day cleaning the kitchen, but it is at last spotless! Only thing I didn't do on the list was one of the extras which was wipe the paint work but it needs doing so I'll do it tomorrow!

I didn't print list so I cleaned oven thinking it was a level, took nearly three hours hangs head in shame last clean back in Feb but never mind it's all nice and sparkly clean!

Also potted around living room and washed our bedding. I'm well and truly knackered!

Toots just put me on the lurker list

twinmum07 the challenge comes from a Scottish custom that said if you had an empty ironing basket going into the new year you would keep it that way all year! so....your vision is correct:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: aim to get it under control now and enter 2011 with no ironing!!!!

I forgot to ask the bird experts - Dusty, LameWolf, Natty68 etc what would I put out for a robin? I have a lovely little robin and he comes near the kitchen window so would like to help him - any suggestions?
    toots xx

tried to post ebay parcels this afternoon but the post office closed early because of the snow - really infuriating as it was an effort for me to get there and miss it by 1 minute!!!!!

have done 1 x WM which is on the airer

have again had several phone calls - especially with nice flylady!!!

have S&S'd the kitchen tonight and made a plan for tomorrow since I am not going to manage my morning appt because of the weather.

  • love, hugs, and spoons to all that need em.

Poohbear, sorry to hear about the vets but everything i could have said has already been more elequonetly said as im not much good at that type of thing!

well ive decided, oh has a choice, once the wedding is out the way and we've bought a house he is either buying me a landrover discovery or a jeep patriot as a 2nd car for weather like this, preferably the patriot as it gets amazing mpg for a 4x4. however thats not going to be for a couple of years yet so ive been drooling over cars for nothing :( although i suppose ive just done 3 hours of research and have gone from an 85K landrover vogue with all the extras to a 20 -25K 4x4 so it has been a :money:evening.

have also decluttered some email from my inbox and some tv from sky plus so just waiting on this programme finishing and then bed at 11.

should be ok to get to work tomorrow as one of my neighbours is a builder or something and walked to his yard and got a digger and drove it back so he could clear the road in our close, so its going to be me and a shovel tomorrow clearing more of the drive so i can get to work with minimum hassle, although if i had my 4x4 there would be no hassle.

hmm need to work out a better argument for me buying it as i probably wont be working when the time comes for a beast 2 so no need to get out. argh at my logic. do you think the argument that its shiney and pretty and i will look good in it will work? :rotfl:

Oh Polly, I'm crying for you and I'm not even a dog person. I know how much you loved your dog and the wonderful care you have given her over the years. My thoughts are with you x
