Yipee another snow day for me tomorrow, think that as Clacks were the last council today to advise of closures they made sure they were the first for tomorrow :snow_grin

It does mean that tomorrows room will get done to level 3 and I should manage another star.

Going to pour a glass of white, light some candles and start writing some xmas cards.

Will check in later to see what is on tomorrows list.

    Monday - ALL DONE!! :j:j:j

Going to do some ironing in a bit .. glass of wine in one hand and iron in the other ;)

No snow here since Saturday but it hasn't been above 0 since then. It's warm in the snug where I've got the fire lit, but it's 14 in the hall, and upstairs :o. Don't think the heating can cope! DD has 2 extra blankets on her bed but so far hasn't complained :p

    Also done today:
    paid work
sorted out TV repair (or not, as we're going to get refunded)
    paid CC bill
    ordered coal
    booked chimney sweep
    decluttered hotspot in kitchen :T
    sorted caravan insurance
tried to phone a plumber to drain system at parents' house, but no reply

doesn't actually feel like I've accomplished much. Am tired and a bit grumpy and no energy to do much else on my list. :( Will do the ironing and that's me done.

Hope everyone else is OK. Hugs and spoons to LL, Diva, LW & toots.

Greenbee - Yep - brain still rotting away - not doing anything vaguely interesting. Photocopying and filing and, if I'm really lucky, I might get to answer the phone when everyone else is too busy! Have applied for several jobs now - always get an interview but always come second.... I'm also doing some freelance research interviewing (though that's dried up a bit now) some copy editing and some writing for an online magazine. As to the book Hex, haven't had the time to pick up on it over the last three months or so, too busy trying to earn money...
Sounds like we need to catch up in the new year and get working on the job hunt for you... have you been asking for feedback?

just e mailed the CSA to tell them I've been receiving payments (direct pay but just in case it kicks off) from exOH as I should have been.

I'm supposed to let them know weekly.

I last contacted them in *cofs and whispers*March
    But did they notice??

Food cooked and eaten (smoked haddock with rice and veg, not really kedgeree, but similar... Kitchen blitzed... hope to finish the rest before my 9pm client call. Must remember to drink WATER not wine :o

    Evening all

No more flying done but I'm not at work this evening as we had to take our poor doggie to the vet for her last visit. At the moment I feel quite calm because I know it was the right time and me, DH and DD2 were all with her, but I also know I'm going to miss her terribly. She was 15 and 1/2 but the last two days she couldn't even stand, let alone walk. She was the best dog.

I am so sorry for your loss - they leave such a gap. Your dog was lucky to have such a great home ((hugs))

Well the challenge between DD and I didn't happen. We ended up finishing off the calenders by penciling in things we're hoping to get done when.

Sugar soap all the gloss work (sanding where necessary) - hall done, most of DD's room as well.

Fill cracks in ceiling & holes around pipework & any holes in wall from pictures
