Greenbee - Yep - brain still rotting away - not doing anything vaguely interesting. Photocopying and filing and, if I'm really lucky, I might get to answer the phone when everyone else is too busy! Have applied for several jobs now - always get an interview but always come second.... I'm also doing some freelance research interviewing (though that's dried up a bit now) some copy editing and some writing for an online magazine. As to the book Hex, haven't had the time to pick up on it over the last three months or so, too busy trying to earn money...

It's been freezing here today, but no snow.

Have changed my bedding and dysoned my bedroom. Now off to cook up some soup for dinner using last night's roast chicken carcass

Not too bad so far. May also clear out fridge and freezer tonight although neither need a clean as only did them last week. Freezer needs restacking though and fridge needs a quick look over as I like to make sure we're using up all food that is on it's way out!

Off to tackle some ironing now while watching TV. May try for a cupboard tidy when I need a break a little later. I am aiming to throughly clean all kitchen cupboards by Christmas so will need to do one every couple of days. Will update later on (now I really can't skive off!).

another great site for parents of young children is Portable North Pole - get your very own email contact with the North Pole! Parenst need to sign in first away from small persons - then the fun begins.

DS was amazed that he was in FC's big red book last year!

    Blushes for shame

just e mailed the CSA to tell them I've been receiving payments (direct pay but just in case it kicks off) from exOH as I should have been.

I'm supposed to let them know weekly.

I last contacted them in *cofs and whispers*March

Ooh I had a thought, not sure how others feel about it, but wouldn't it be good if we could combine having all the christmas stuff done and our houses all nice and tidy etc by midday on Christmas Eve. Maybe we could have a challenge, like the ironing challenge, and those that wanted to could sign up for it.. What does everyone think? Or is it a daft idea..lol

Do you think we could get Piggers or Toots to put it on the front page for the next three/four weeks then those that want to can sign up and we keep a list of people doing it. Then we can jolly everyone up - like the ironing challenge.

natty you are very naughty person suggesting this:p- (I know a lot of people would like to be that organised and will be trying to aim for it in their own way.) Already there are some up for your challenge! And now you have put me in the position that I feel I cant refuse or you will all think I am being mean - I will put a list up but you will have to do the jollying along as I have more than enough on my plate right now - my preparations/arrangements have to be done by the 12th as i go into hospital on the 13th for a whole week!!!!

    BAD VALLI !!!!:rotfl:

    back later

Can't think WHAT has been on my mind..:rotfl:

just in the process of updating the school website. Our Year 5s, who I teach on a Wednesday, made and sold pizza today. Managed to remember to nip and take pictures of them - all adults in there were up to their eyes...

Going to do some marking momentarily. Hoping for a snow day tomorrow than I can write my christmas cards...
