Pollybear - huge hugs for you.

I ran out of energy long before I ran out of mess. Tomorrows another day and all that.

Hugs polly bear. Please don't look at the link on my previous post in case it upsets you. I was attempting to set it up as you were posting.

    (((hugs))) polly

OK, I've washed the worst, most revolting bit of the kitchen floor with a cloth on my hands and knees. I will keep washing the floors all week as I do different bits downstairs, and hopefully that will deal with the rest of it. So before I do my last work call of the day

Sounds like we need to catch up in the new year and get working on the job hunt for you... have you been asking for feedback?

Oh yes, they always give verbal feedback. How I was wonderful but just pipped at the post by someone who was even more wonderful. For one it was so close, I was told, the interview panel had to go and (it being academia) do a reflective piece of work overnight! In each case, the selected candidate has been about 20 years younger.... Ageism is alive and well says the cynic in me....

But, I have started applications for three more jobs that have come up. They will be finalised and sent off tomorrow.

I have also rustled up a hearty soup out of the remains of the sunday roast. I even included half a tin of baked beans that was sitting looking at me in the fridge. It will be interesting to see how it tastes when I serve it up in a few minutes!
