    Happy St.Andrews Day xx

DD gone to school, I'm feeling a bit better today but not risking going to work as the cold seems to make it worse. Will try to do a few bits around the house today, never got round to the hoovering yesterday and it's getting desperate!!

I am in with the ironing challenge too....was keeping up with it till last week, so need some motivation...xx

Will try and pop in later, keep well and warm all xx

Very tired this morning... not sure when they stopped digging up the water pipes last night but it was well after 1.30 when i finally gave up doing stuff... We have a light dusting of snow (except where the workmen were:cool:) but I have no plans to go out until my reflexology appointment tonight, and OH is coming over later, so he can drive :)

DW emptied, filters cleaned and supper/breakfast stuff loaded in. Breakfast eaten. One load of laundry in. I've got just over an hour before my first work call, so need to get showered and dressed and see whether I can get another load of laundry underway. I also have a cake to make this afternoon, as it is my nephew's christening on Sunday, so I need to make, split, fill and crumb it, then freeze it ready to decorate on Saturday...

Tuesday ~ Living room, Hallway, stairs!

MAKE CERTAIN THAT CAR EMERGENCY KIT IS READIED AND SORTED!!! Just need to add sleeping bag - but as the car is going in for a service, will put it all in OH's hire car until we collect my car again on Friday.

as you will have guessed I've got a snow day.

Initially the plan was to open but apparently the boss couldn't actually get to school so changed his mind.

And I got to ring one of the Radio Stations to announce the closure because the website crashed!:p

Has any of you ever been in that situation? What did you do? DD is 4 by the way.

I'd not lie to her either.. Maybe he is waiting to hear back from gf if she is willing to do that? Could you and DD pick him up from hers and she collect him? Could DD ring him?

He may be telling the truth about lack of money which could be why he isn't drinking!

She will see sense about seeing him eventually.. they always do.

Polly.. hugs for you all xxx

  • Morning everyone

Love, hugs and spoons to everyone that needs em.

Im feeling absolutly rubbish today, and its staring to snow again! My back has gone again which is annoying as now ive got 2 choices, dope up on drugs and clear more snow (which is what set it off in the first place) to get to work, or call in sick and go on a disiplinary.

As much as I dont want to go into work because I dont want to clear snow I dont really want a diseplinary so i think im going to take lots of drugs and hope that i dont get worse as if i get worse i wont be able to move at all!
