Today is going to be a busy day  I have all my usual Sunday chores plus the decorating to get done as I only have today and tomorrow to get it done unless I can grab a couple of hours on Wednesday after work for the last minute things. The rooms being as clear as possible should help but I still don't see me getting it all done today

    Sunday To-Do
    - Paint Gloss work in DD / Mine / Hall - all partly done and requiring things to be moved before they're finished Bathroom will have to wait until tomorrow morning so it has a chance to dry because of baths.
    - Paint doors in DD room
    - Paint walls in DD room
    - Paint hall walls
    - Paint my rooms walls.
    - Put up smoke alarm

    - laundry ([STRIKE]decorating gear
[/STRIKE] / jeans / sheets / dark / lights / pink&purple / bedding ) and make a start on the blankets which have to go in one at a time
    - ironing (uniform for the week, my clothes for the week)
    - Washing up x 3 (bulky things ) - a batch of mugs & cutlery & chopping boards done which have filled the drainer. Still more to go!!
    - Bath DD
    - MAKE BEDS BACK UP (need sheets to be dry first, need the mattress protectors!)
    - School stuff ready for Tomorrow (include bag for me for shopping straight from school with list)
    - Remount Heating timer.

Decorating To-do: (Italics are not urgent, but need to be done once the rest is done, preferably before the new carpets go in!)
Paint my bedroom walls again (painting magnolia over blue!)
    Paint bathroom gloss
    Paint bathroom ceiling
    Paint bathroom walls
    Clear surfaces in livingroom
Fill cracks in ceiling & holes around pipework & any holes in wall from pictures
    Paint ceiling
Sugarsoap/sand gloss work in livingroom & kitchen
Paint glosswork in livingroom & kitchen (except backdoor)
    Repair floor trim
    Paint walls
    Paint kitchen ceiling
    Paint kitchen walls

Tuesday ~ Living room, Hallway, stairs!
    Level One
    Dust and deweb
    Level Two
    De-fingerprint glass, screens, windows etc
    Level Three

Check smoke alarms - Put the one on the landing back up after painting the ceiling (downstairs one is already back up)
    Wednesday ~ Bedroom, Landing..
    Level one
    Replace bedding
    Level two
Polish windows and mirrors and any other glass/mirror
Thursday - Bathroom, Loo & Study
    Level Two
    Wash windows
    Level three
    Clean the bath/shower/loo's/basins etc
    Scrub down the tiles
    Friday ~ Childrens pits
    Level One
    replace bedding

DD is going to be given a duster and told to go for it in the livingroom when she gets in. I'll give the windows a quick wipe over rather than wash. I'll do them properly when I've finished the decorating. ;)

Off to tackle DDs hair. Then hopefully X will be here to take her out for the day and I'll be able to get a bath to destink in peace. :o

    Good Morning Everyone.
Another cold, sunny day here, however we're supposed to get a bit more snow later on. In a way I'm quite pleased, as it means that the local ski centre, (which was bought out by local people who worked there a couple of years ago) will have a successful time of it. Many of them re-mortgaged their houses etc, and while I'm not involved with it, I know they've had some worrying seasons.
Dusty re Sticky Eyes If you can't get along to the pharmacy or it's closed being Sunday, I usually use boiled, cooled salty water to bathe them (use different cotton wipes for each eye) then get two used teabags and place them on each eye for 10 mins. Not sure why it works, but it does give some relief.
Toots Aye, the list does look a bit out of hand, but it's a mixture of stuff I have to batter on with for my wee business, things I've promised to do for DH/MILs business and things I want to do for myself and I'm notorious at this time of year for having panics about what I have to do re. work. (and just wasting the day because I feel overwhealmed rather than facing it and getting on with it.) I've realised it's all capable of being broken down into 15 min chunks if I start early enough, which should stop me becoming stressed (and subsequently covered in Psoriasis) by the whole thing. Pretty pleased about the never ending jumper, which has benifited greatly from the 15 mins every day!
Thank you for my jolly Christmas tree!! Hope you are keeping warm and comfortable dearie. x
Maxonian, Happy Birthday hon! Hope it's a lovely one!!
Hellyboo Sweetie, I hope you're being very kind and gentle with yourself today, and getting a chance to chill out. <<hugs>>

:bdaycake:Happy birdday Maxonian! Hope you have a lovely lunch.

:grouphug:for those who are feeling poorly or having a tough time at the moment.

I'm off to get dressed and then tidy up the house some more - Moon may bring his shooting club friend back for a coffee afterwards, so need to make sure the place is as tidy as it was last weekend. As our guests are coming to dinner on Friday rather than Saturday, it is probably a good thing to get a head start on the cleaning anyway, as no doubt the cooking will keep me busy on Friday afternoon.

I also need to write Christmas cards so I can post them off this week.

    Hope everyone is keeping warm.

Happy Birthday, Maxonian. Hope you have a lovely lunch.

Still feeling weird, despite breakfast and paracetamol. Can't even say exactly what's wrong. DW has now joined WM and TD and family has been fed. Just DS2 and me left in the house now (again), until later this afternoon.

    Must:
sort some clean laundry and put last lot in WM
    have a bath
    do budget
    WORK
    HW with DS2
find something for tea that virtually cooks itself with little prep :o

First laundry, then bath, followed by HW, I think.
  • mrsC get well soon, sexy how's the wedding plans? sticks spoons and hugs all round and greenbee hope its ok with you today.

We've just had a power cut, but...

    make up DDs beds
    washing
    ironing
    put clothes away
    paperwork

will do me for the day, oh and catch-up marking.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
