Thanks, grateful. Feeling a bit brighter after my bath and pleased that I've done some of the things I'd normally put off on a Sunday.

[STRIKE]sort some clean laundry[/STRIKE] and put last lot in WM (there might be more than one lot - teen hasn't brought anything down yet this weekend)
    [STRIKE]have a bath[/STRIKE]
    do budget
    WORK
    HW with DS2
[STRIKE]find something for tea that virtually cooks itself with little prep :o[/STRIKE]

Lunch (HM soup from the freezer) :D, then HW with DS2. I've brainstormed lists (house/work/Christmas) on a little notepad while I was in the bath and will finetune to-dos during lunch. Budget after HW, I think.

I wonder if the past-best-before chocolate is responsible for me feeling slightly yucky. Will sling the two cream eggs just in case, I think.

Kids have been good so far today, they should be already for school tomorrow. Dinner on and should be ready soon. Dw on it's first load for today and some more christmas pressies got.

Need to sit down tonight and work out a meal plan and money for this week, look through appointment and write down when party's are on. It's gonna be a very busy week.:D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Well I'm now minus a bridesmaid (as mentioned yesterday) but not overly bothered as she was starting to become more of a hassle than it was worth.
Better to have lost her now then.
I was once Matron of Honour in a dress that did not suit me because it had been chosen by the woman who should have been joint with me - and with her daughters as bridesmaids in matching dresses, but then threw a wobbly just before the wedding:mad:
Happy to support my friend, but not with the dress.:rotfl:

    Hi all

I am going to try and join in this week. I usually lurk on this thread and manage mondays (as i tend to be home on monday) and then give up as the week goes by...and then have a mad panic on fridays as i tried to find the house under all the gibble before the weekend...

BUT after a week of kids being in the house unable to go out as snow too deep to play in - every toy in the house is on the floor somewhere.... the utility is coverd in sludge and mud and grit that's come in on boots... the kitchen is hidden under dishes.....and the floordrobe is piled up to the eaves..so i am posting to say i am in this week and hope that posting will keep me motivated.... its a very busy week, with house to reclaim and lots of work to catch up on and sheep to find / feed if the snow does not melt quick..

ok off to try and find the kitchen surfaces - i cooked a leg of lamb for 8 adults and 6 kids last night (a spontaneous "gathering" as we can't get out of our farm cottages as the lane is still bad we invited all the neighbours in for a meal....but lots of mess to deal with now...but a great time was had..

Wednesday and Friday done - thank you toots

Kids too bouncy so can come back outside for more fence breaking

Thanks for all the sticky eye help. I'm using boiled water and homeopathic remedies at the moment. I'll call into the chemist in a day or two if it has not cleared. It does seem a bit better now.

Hi artichoke - glad you're joining us. Here's a Christmas tree, as I don't think you're on the list.

    :xmastree:

Flagging now after my lunch. I managed to put rubbish our and clear snow outside the front door again (slid down from roof ). Our road is still bad, so I may be on the train tomorrow.
