Tis very foggy here now - don't like the idea of freezing weather and fog :( Really need to get organised for tomorrow as I don't think school will be closed seeing as there's no snow here anymore :p

I have been to the cinema today and, whilst I was out, I bought Christmas cards, wrapping paper and a few other bits. more washing done too.

I've had an idea.... I've always wanted to have a go on a dog sled, so I was thinking, if I get Mr LW to make a sled out of the old doors we're replacing, maybe if I harness all the BDs to it, we could send them off somewhere into the sunset....:rotfl:

Oh, but if you're having a go on the sled, you might disappear with them :( Make sure you jump off in time - we don't want to lose you!

    Hugs for all xx

Decided to go out for a run instead of sweeping and mopping the floor

Ran very very slowly as the pavements were super icey and slippy in places. Ran and walked my 10k route which was a surprise as I'm building up to this distance. Must have been the cold that helped me get there. Still can't run it all but nearly as had a few walking intervals of a minute or so

Was nice and warm with my softshell jacket on

Had to go as had a bit of cabin fever and didn't want to let all the hard work go to waste from June to now after an enforced break from illness, assignment and now snow and ice. Really pleased I went and forwent the mopping as I feel a lot better now!

Hex2~ 3 bird roast, I bought one, I did look at doing it myself but having watched a youtube of do it, and the chef taking 9 mins to bone the chicken, I decided I didnt have the inclination, the one I bought, (Mr't's frozen £10 I think) the chicken and turkey were great, but I did wonder where the duck was!, there was a little but not what I thought, it was already stuffed, and there is loads left over, no bones, and yes I would buy one again,.

I would suggest there was enough for 5 to 7 servings.

Guess what sandwiches we are having for works lunches tomorrow??!!:rotfl::rotfl:

We won't sleep tonight, as we are back on choccies / diet coke / tea! we live the high life!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Off to try and rescue my room. There is one piece of gloss work I haven't been able to do in there - the chimneybreast part as my bed is in the way and piled high with bedding etc :o DD can have her bath while I do that. Then maybe I can get the last couple of snowmen for the week....:)

Just had my first attempt at making lemon curd - we had a few lemons and eggs that needed using up, and I found a microwave recipe on here - it's lovely. Not sure how thick it'll be once it's cooled down (it's a little thinner than shop-bought ones at the moment), but Moon is impressed. I've put it in a large branston pickle jar that I steralised in the oven, and it's taken pride of place in the fridge. Looking forward to having some on toast later.

Well I'd better be off, as Moon wants to do some research online.

Hugs to all, and see you all next week at some point.

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
