    In Dobbies up at Monifieth farm there are steel snow shovels for £20, and super dooper lightweight alloy ones for £40.

    Not very MSE, but if it gets you on the road and into work without losing pay then it might be worth it...

    Think we could do with pneumatic drills to crack the compacted ice on some of the pavements rather than snow shovels lol.
    Looks like a good chance of snow later in the week!
    ETA- just had an email from LIDL on the 20th they are doing thermal trousers age 1 1/2 to 6, velour pj's age 1-6, kid's ski gloves & men's winter boots, just thought I'd mention it as they will help keep us cosy.
