Out for lunch when it started to snow heavily, luckily home was only 10 minutes away in the car.
Home, safe and cosy now, cuppa tea and happily watching Newcastle and Chelsea playing football.
Bliss............make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
how deep is it lying in dundee ? weve only got about five inches here in glasgow, dont know if were getting any more though0

Hard to say as we are quite protected where we are, but I'd say it's about 5-6 inches, might be deeper elsewhere, Dundee doesn't normally get it too bad so it must be really bad elsewhere.:eek:Booo!!!0

IT was earlier than that, Violetta, the thunder woke me up with a bang at 4:30 this morning, was very weird seeing lightning lighting the place up when it's covered in snow...
the wind turbines at Michelin have been seen with blue sparks, we're 2 miles from there, the lightning was only about a mile away.
I was in at work today, and in an inside office inside the factory wearing earmuffs I STILL heard the thunder - don't ever remember thundersnow in my 40 years in Dundee.
I'd agree on the 5 or 6 inches of snow - I didn't think it was too bad till I looked out the window and realised it would be a bit hairy getting to work this morning.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
