Ailuro - can I just have a hot toddy?
We have about 8 inches of snow in Blairgowrie, and pavements and side roads havent been touched. All schools closed again tomorrow, and the thunder and lightening was still going on this evening at the back of six. DD2 - who is 21! popped out to the shop and as she was going through the alleyway from our cul-de-sac the whole place lit up - she ran all the way!!!Every days a School day!0 -

Violetta, have you seen this, if you use Facebook?
there's a group called "I survived the great Dundee thunder-snow-storm! 28/11/10" with updates on what's closed, running etc. They are also collecting money to help those who will struggle to keep warm this winter - but it's not a compulsory thing, just a nice little addition from the guy who set up the page.:)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Dundee is nuts.... buses going off, tesco/asda/sainsburys home deliveries shut until the weekend. Don't think a gritter has touched any of the schemes. buses going off at 5pm because of weather, rumours the overgate shut early etc. its like armagedon.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
