Apparently someone in Birkhill has built an igloo bigger than their son's bedroom... how cool is that?:T

Ailuro - can I just have a hot toddy?
We have about 8 inches of snow in Blairgowrie, and pavements and side roads havent been touched. All schools closed again tomorrow, and the thunder and lightening was still going on this evening at the back of six. DD2 - who is 21! popped out to the shop and as she was going through the alleyway from our cul-de-sac the whole place lit up - she ran all the way!!!

Violetta, have you seen this, if you use Facebook?

there's a group called "I survived the great Dundee thunder-snow-storm! 28/11/10" with updates on what's closed, running etc. They are also collecting money to help those who will struggle to keep warm this winter - but it's not a compulsory thing, just a nice little addition from the guy who set up the page.:)

Not seen that, will have to look it up. I'd love a southern comfort hot toddy if it's going.
Roads are still crazy, main ones are cleared(ish) but seem's like everywhere else still bad, spotted a few people trying to drive along our rd flooring it wheels spinning madly sliding all over the place!

Dundee is nuts.... buses going off, tesco/asda/sainsburys home deliveries shut until the weekend. Don't think a gritter has touched any of the schemes. buses going off at 5pm because of weather, rumours the overgate shut early etc. its like armagedon.
