Hope Mr Stripes makes it home through the snow.

The gulls are all here! Lots of Black Headed's around here at the moment - bizarre as we are nearly as far from the beach as MatyMoo! it's been raining here all day so most of our birdies have sensibly kept a low profile today. On better days though we get blue & great t*ts, Long tailed t*ts occasionally, collared doves, the inevitable starlings, blackbirds, sparrows and robins. Saw a treecreeper in the woods across the road a few weeks back, and are lucky to have an RSPB reserve not far away which gets lots and lots of ducks and waders as well as resident kingfishers.

I'm right in the middle of the country, as far as you can be from the sea :(. Yesterday I channel surfed till I found A Place By The Sea, just so I could see it :o.

Not a lot on the birdie front here but there was a lovely little robin mouthing off to the wood pigeons earlier, my little friendly blackbird, sparrows, collared doves, a few goldfinches and I saw a red kite as well :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)
