Oh cheery ta
My wellies came from birsay farmers (shop)
Funny you like those ones - I'm not particularity fond of them as they are a bit too big for me........maybe we need a wellie swap?
Good you had a nice chat - I'm plodding on - but distracted by Lego negotiations afoot hereTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Ooo lovely yellow wellies, I saw them in your pics very nice indeed. Have you tried the welly shop http://www.thewellyshop.com/Wellies/Coloured-Wellies/Aigle-Lollypop/p-108-101-208/ they have some really good wellies and at fairly reasonable prices. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. good shop cheri
I see they've even got wedding wellies :rotfl: :rotfl:
Bizarrely, given the profusion of fabulously stripey wellies around, the ones I was wearing were these - extremely ordinary looking, but marvellously sturdy, warm, comfortable, and with a good grip, not like the namby pamby wellies I've had in the past :rotfl:
(I should point out I don't NEED wellies at all, living in the city, with only a small garden, and perfectly adequate walking boots and many other shoes! :rotfl:)0 -
Now they are fab wellies. Dunlop wellies are the best. They can often be found in country type shops. Next time I am in Countrywide or Cheap Charlies I will have a look to see if they have any on offer. If they do and if the cost of posting doesnt outweigh buying on tinternet I could send them to you. Everybody needs wellies even when you live in the middle of town. Life is just not complete without wellies.
Liking the idea of wellie swaps - sounds like fun - Pippi why not do a wellie swap on your blog? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. thanks cheri
I must confess I did pop into the horse and rider shop on our high street that I've never been into before (not being either horse or rider :rotfl:) but theirs were all posh horse riding wellies
(i also considered begging Pippi to post me some from the stromness shop, but decided the postage would outweigh the extra on the internet!
)
Going to investigate the local (ish) safety wear shop
(even if I need wellies, not entirely convinced I NEED £46 wellies )0 -
Right, that's it, Im thinking a trip to Progressive Safety is in order :rotfl: these look very similar and are only £16.50! :rotfl:
Right - WORK, not WELLIES! :rotfl:
(perhaps if I concentrate and get lots done today, my treat in the morning could be a trip to Progressive Safety?? My nan gave me £30 for Christmas - perhaps I could split it between Entirely Unnecessary (but fun) Yellow Wellies and Entirely Unnecessary (but fun) Fancy Underwear :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:)0 -

Everyone needs wellies you silly sausage
Imagine thinking you don't NEED wellies - clearly those folk who haven't discovered them yet have gone a bit insane

Sorry! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Mr Daffs (sensibly) vetoed a trip to Progressive Safety this afternoon on the grounds that I have a PhD to write rather urgently :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have made him promise that we can go for when it opens at 9am tomorrow - BEFORE the women's institute:rotfl: That's how important they are
(still not done any work though - oops!Should have just gone to the wellie shop!)
