Aw, Pippi, thank you that made my night - along with the excellent response to Numpty Trousers
Moo is a bit fed up because he wants me to take him for his evening walk. I am putting it off because I am full of mushroom strogonoff and feeling very full. Oh well I think I will have to give in and head to the forest before dark. It is still very light here but give it an hour and I might get lost in the dark. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Oh it's not dark here til, um, late sunset at 10pm but light til later. Sunrise at 4.24am
Gets crazy next month hardly dark at all.
Peedie doesn't want a walk sideways rain and gales here
Mushroom stroganoff sounds yummy. We had pizza-riceyum

Sorry about the ramble...I do feel I have wasted most of my life...done lots of things, but not achieved an awful lot...if that makes sense.

Hi, :hello:
I'm delurking to say I think your commenter needs to get a life. I thought your answer was very restrained. I might have been less charitable .
Don't forget the old saying "If you can't measure it, you can't control it." Of course you have to weigh it! Trust me, I'm a statistician. :rotfl:
I follow your blog and give you great respect for your 'Good Life' ambitions.
PS. I've done exactly the same with rescued Basil and I weighed mine as well. :cool:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
What's wrong with sultanas??? DS2 eats them instead of sweets/crisps/other nibbly stuff....much healthier!
Managed to get a bit of weeding done tonight, as well as burying some chopped up comfrey where I will be planting my french beans...they seem to like it, and have always grown well with this treatment. When I came inside I was shocked to see it was ten to ten! It was only just getting too dark by then.
I love the north in the summer...wonderfully long days..even if the weather is carp. I worked in Norway one summer...now that was light!!! Didn't make it up to Trondheim though...one day!
Agree with you Pippi, your weather has really been awful this [STRIKE]May[/STRIKE] year
As for having a nursery..I would love it..I think! I did consider it ages ago, but not quite sure how I would approach it. I suppose I should have a serious think again..but not tonight, as I'll never get any sleep!
Speaking of which...night night, sleep tight....see you all tomorrow sometime.
Thanks again for all your encouragement....you're all so wonderful! :A

What an unpleasant gutless character to leave that comment! If you're going to be unpleasant to someone you could at least have the decency to be brave enough to do it under your own name. Well done for a beautifully crafted response Stripes! I was trying to comment but my connection is sluggish tonight and the page won't load properly.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you for your lovely comment - nice that you've delurkedI weigh everything - I think its the scientist wannabe in me. How else can you know that what you've done is working or not?
I'm very glad you admire my goodlife ambitions whilst they are a bit gungho and (In my mind) maybe a niave maybe - but who wants to grow up
