Morning all
Now what on earth have you all been upto
my one thing today I am going to do is say to greying - just found your note - thank you so much love the 'elfen safety' - had pictures of an organisation which assured that elfen folk didn't get caught unawares in plastic bags!
Much appreciate it and so cool you have thought so much about what you've sent - every scrap will be used.xxx
GG what have you been upto to? Oh I hear now - dreaming of beagle and JR - wik has a JR called Poppy. (What I call her in real life (poppy not wik) I'll not say!)
GV off to catch up with your post too!
Lemontree I agree that is a bit greedy on the sausage dog front - loved the note - very lovely to get it and Peedie says thank you for the patt!
Its lovely you all think of me as competent. Thank you.
As I was laying matting ninja style yesterday (lying on it whilst me bruv tucked in one edge) giggling about how 'not to garden' it got the job done - annoying at the last 5m where it just didn't lay right (and was by the house) and we had to take it up and lay it again - looked better second time.
But that means all 120+m is laid - more trees to plant the cuttings for the hedge (I'll get my fridge back!) - not today though - teaching later and some prep to do. (and the spreadsheet of stripey earnings had a boost - 6hrs gardening! How amazing to be paid to have fun, and get fit! shhhhhhhhhh.
And, not had brekkie yet - might do an hour in my own garden as a treat!
What all the plans for today?
More coffee here first I think. We've got into a great routine - I get up, go run feed hens whilst kettle boiling, hens try and invade the house, shoo hens out of the house and try to not stand on thier little toes or trip over them when I try and take the food out, feed hens, have cuppa, peedie plods down from his bed and wants to go eat hen food. I give it five mins then he goes and joins them for their brekkie.
Very funny.
Off to catch up on you all and make sure I don't forget anyoneTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Sounds like a fab routine Pippi! :j :j Love thinking about you and the chickens
And :j :j :j for gardening fun!
I'm off on a picnic today :T :T0 -
Pippi, that sounds *so* wonderful .... I know I couldn't do physical work like that any more, but it still sounds great to hear you talk about it ...
I'm admiring Keiss working in the front garden too - I've done hardly anything out there, tho a lot of it is paving anyway .... once the buddleia and the ivy are in manageable proportions, the rest of what I need to do will get a look in, I promise
Its a *lovely* looking day here today, I hope its fine for everyone else - no tv here, so I've no clue, and haven't really checked out the online forecast either2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Enjoy your picnic cheery
I'm about to find tomatoes to pot up on windowsills
Done batch cooking for the week (mince and tatties, curry, hm sausages (turkey and cajun), chicken with white sauce and some pasta thingmy with tomato sauce (HM)
Uploading photos of seals and lambies for a blog about silly lovely spring stuff
Teaching at 4pm - but alot to sort before that
Bit gardenining I think is sunny and not sunny intermittently (very windy here) but I think I'll brave the potting shed and try to find last years window boxes for the tomatoes and perhaps a couple of those bush cucumbers - I'm trying those upstairs as well - living room will be more like a greenhouse than a living room in a mo or two! (Its kind of like a conservatory but its upstairs.)hope you have a lovely picnic cheery!
xx The chookie wooky folk tell me to cluck hello to you!
KC morning - glad you're getting on in garden slow and steady when you've arthritis - look after yourself - I've not looked at the weather either
Keiss my word what alot you've done - I read it was laughing so much about the stickywullies!
They get everywhere - poor peedie is covered in them if we end up near a patch of them - well done you!!!:rotfl:Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Yay! I was worrying mine isn't up yet..............!
Great stuff you've really cheered me up!
And DD and I have embarked on part 1 of the great tomato take over of the living room - thus far - we've used 10 window boxes and planted 2-3 in each box - with labels - bring it on the great tomato growing experiment of 2011.
Only half way around the ledges (it has many windows)
Off to pot up some chillis and then list stuff on ebay but the internet is shockingly slow at the mo - bah!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

i'm planning on doing lots of potting on today, we've some nice tomato plants on the bedroom window sill which i can split up and then sort ready for selling at work. It's a lovely warm day here, the washing is out and so are the animals. I've weeded some grass out of the border and into their tummies so they're happy.0

Thankfully they haven't started fruiting, so just the leaves and stems to contend with!! I only ever knew them as sticky-wullie until relatively recently. (When doing an HNC @ Pershore College, I created great consternation and loads of laughter when I called them that! :rotfl::rotfl:).
Think we did a bit too much yesterday as we are all feeling wiped out and rather lackadaisical today. I need to make bread though, and might sow some seeds...need to pot up some of the plants I dug up yesterday...they are sitting in tubs/trays/buckets of water and in shade, so still looking ok atm.
Hope everyone has a great day.
