Yay to triangle giving!!
Morning all - I hope you're OK
Off to check banks and life things (ebay)
I'm wanting to say ta for all the lovely support - I'm going to cross fingers and get there with the money - it will slowly tick in. Thank you - you all keep me going and we can thank LT and lovely EH etc for the inspiration for the spreadsheet action!
OK here we go - open eyes do bank!
My chilli seeds are up as are my cucumber (trying a wierd bush one this year) tomatoes are popping arms out for a stretch, melons up, courgettes, sweetcorn and a few other things.
The polytunnel came yesterday (frame only) which is wonderful - how efficient within 24hrs of talking to them - they got it delivered - doh - taken me since November to figure out how to do it!!
I hope you're all good. DD happy with her mark - she got a pair of lovely converse for her grade when we were in Edinburgh (only chance I would get) - and she's home on sunday.
First comments back about last experiment chapter - only need finish literature, discussion and conclusions and put it all together, review it and get it ready in about a month - eek.
Cheery thank you, will slowly get there.
Plastic mulching still not back for that job yet - hence the 800+ willow cuttings in the fridge (and the odd potato) - hope it comes soon.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

petrol prices are ridiculous Pip. Just a thought ........ for future gardening jobs can you cost in the petrol or request expenses for coming along to cost jobs. So free valuation but charge per mile for petrol. I ask because I once looked into dog minders and on top of their fees they asked for travel expenses. Even if you just do that for costing jobs because you can then cost in the petrol into the quotes. Also dont forget that you can claim them as an expense when doing your tax returns etc. I think that they allow so much per mile so it is knocked off the income if I am not mistaken. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Morning all...yeaaaah to green shoots appearing and growing strong. :j
More seeds winging their way north Pippi.....sorry if the enclosed note makes little sense...wasn't quite with it at the time.
Came across this in annother MSE thread...inspirational...you can tell he had a bit of money to set up his lottie!! Still, a lot of good ideas...we have 1.2 x 2.4m beds too, but not as fancy as his!
Feeling well enough to get some more potting up done, as well as more seed sowing....got space in the propagator for the next lot now. Hope to get my lads into the garden weeding and digging...loads to be done!!
Have a lovely day today...even if the sun isn't shining over you.

Hello chaps - ebay done, banking done, lidls done and escaped without a lemon tree, kumquat tree or a mandarin tree!
Bought some mini pickling cucumber seeds instead.
49p instead of 19.99 - simples
added up last months ebay/eggs etc and thank goodness for spreadsheets - its not been as bad as I thought income wise, its just been an expensive couple of months.
Thank you all for reminding me about spreadsheets and that it will all add up
DD back on sat - yippee - missed her.
Disposed of a dead rat in kitchen (long story - very ergh) - finally found this one - yuk.

lottis coming along slowly, hoping mr LT will visit it again and dig me another bed over so i can get my spuds in as they're quietly taking over my living room with their chitting habits. Got some free seeds with a magazine over the weekend, some mild chilli's and some flowery type ones so need to get more seeds in trays this weekend. Got some more onions which are showing green shoots so they will have to go in very soon so sound like another bed for Mr LT to dig.
need to send you an envelope. Would you like some Italian white bean seeds? my MIL keeps giving me packets of them and i'll never grow that many.0 -

Morning all,
Congrats to Pippi's DD! I love live music - wish I was good at it but I hate to practice - but love to listen to others.
And well done Cheery for reaching the finishing line!
Interesting allotment site K. My garden doesn't look as neat as that! How does he find the time?
Bit crazy here, far too much to do and today is the end of term so have to take DD to school, stay for an almost-Easter church service, then rush home and do a blue-**rsed-fly impression for a couple of hours before going back to pick her up at 1:45, then try and get everything finished and get ready for a couple of days away - going camping for a long weekend. At least weather seems to be on our side - gorgeous here! Just hoping I don't get too many last-minute urgent work requests!
Hope things are under control there Pippi, sounds like you are coping, and they will get better!
Have a good weekend all!0 -
Um, lovley weather?????????????????
Its back to december here - spring has definitely NOT sprung. Horrific winds all night long - still windy but a bit calmer here iyswim!
Our easter break finishes today - why doesn't the UK keep one holiday regime?
