Was hoping you'd spent the day in the garden pippi! :j :j :j I have too :D (and reading a book about women in wartime - fascinating!). I've been digging out hardcore - extremely hard work and rather boring - hope you'e been doing something more fun!

we've been planning things for our garden - inspiration has struck and we've realised if we move the gate when we put the new fence up we can extend the patio a bit and get loads more useable space.
didn't really do much in the garden today apart from getting some washing dried. Mr LT washed and valetted our cars and i did a deep clean on the bathroom, kitchen, and started on the living room. Flame thrower is still needed here though for the living room and the bedroom. Was nice to have the windows open and patio doors open, i propped open all the internal doors as well so the air could rush through and clear out the damp, smells and mould. Felt lovely albeit a little bit chilly.

Sounds like Spring has well and truely sprung over your parts of the UK guys. We are hanging onto autumn here just about. We have had only 1 major storm so far, and I am hoping to be able to keep the heating off until the end of April. Would really like to be out of this house before the winter months really kick in, but I looked on the online listings yesterday, and there were no rentals available for our town for heavens sake! Sigh
Good luck with the writing Pippi. So close to the finish line now

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • All been busy I see!

Grimacing at the bank - 36 quid in one account - wtfc in before the dd's out - which will be tight but hope ok.

Waiting for the plastic membrane for this job - been over 2 weeks now - ordering online saved £100 BUT only a saving if it turns up! Getting twitchy about it.

Chev - fingers crossed with the heating off til end apr - we're turning ours off here
KC - intellectual stuff today - finding if I cant have a break (ie weekend) I'm rubbish during the week (taken me 3 years to work that out - lol)

LT hope the cats behaving and the house looks sparkly - garden changed gates sound ace.

    Cheery you're very hard working!!!

Off into work - catch you all later

    Have a great day

No ebay thing gone - bah!
    Need do more

tis still lovely here, the birds are tweeting. Our office is litteraly at the height of the tree tops so we get lots of noisy birds distracting us.
Said hello and goodbye to Mr LT this morning, i was litteraly about to pull away as he arrive home, i officially hate night shifts!
hope you get some stuff done Pippi and that your plastic membrane arrives later today. Have you chased them?

Good luck with the membrane Pippi....the post up to you is usually pretty good, though if it went surface, that's can be another ball game...:(

We have just had our first proper daytime rain shower for nearly a month! We were just getting home from shopping, so got the washing in before it got soaked, thank goodness :).

The sun is out and it's lovely again, so got my second load out drying...a bit breezy now.

Right, off to get some fruit loaf made, as well as pastry for the quiches we're having at teatime. MIght make a batch of beetroot and chocolate brownies....if the beetroot still looks OK!!

Enjoy the rest of the day.
