Sitting in hotel restaurant. Just eat fish for the first time in 5 years, well the vegetarian option was out of stock!! I havent eaten since 7 this morning so I thought what the heck!!!!!!!! Tuna, I did check that it was dolphin friendly and caught from sustainable stock (hey if they lied I am oblivious) but it was really tasty.
So sitting in a hotel restaurant checking MSE - how sad!!!Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Not sad at all Cherisong - eminently sensible if you ask me0

Thats terrible that they were out of stock , that to me says it was probably something frozen anyway ,
but they still should be able to muster something fresh up ,salads , fresh veg , rice , cous cous, pasta,
,,shame on that hotel and more so on the chefs
Rant over ,
ps I'm not a veggy and I hate cooking for them but still do it when asked to.Member of change Pip's name back to PIP club

Pippy ,
I have just brought 2 Globe artichoke plants (90p each) , I would like to try to harvest the chokes , but do I have to wait a year after planting as they are only 8 leaf plants and therefore diddy???
I also brought a Sage plant, the lady undercharged me for it and told me that before she rung it in , go figure. :jMember of change Pip's name back to PIP club

Congratulations DD, you must be so proud of her Pippi.
Sorry the mice have been at your finances and made them all squeaky, if you can find even one second just imagine what they would have been like if you hadn't have cleared your debts before you reached this stage.
